Chapter 34

James pov

"I'm sorry, I know this is hard for you." James was now sat on the island in the kitchen as I held an ice pack to his beaten face. His voice was hoarse and I could almost hear the emotions screaming, trying to escape.

"It was always going to be hard for him if I moved on. It just happens to be you. It doesn't change how I feel." I was finally admitting these feelings to not just James but myself. A smirk danced at the corners of his lips,the choreography pace quickening making it harder for him to hide.

"And what are these feelings, because we haven't really talked about this."

"I, well, I have feelings for you, I think we could work."

James let out a deep sigh, I prepared myself not sure if it was relief or guilt. "thank god, we will work, I want this so much, maybe I could take you out, this friday?"

A large smile took over my face, giving me no chance to attempt to hide it, I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closer placing a soft kiss on his lips before pulling back just enough see I could see his face. "I like this bandana look you've got going on by the way, it's a real turn on."

"Looks like I'll have to keep that in mind."

I had convinced Giovannna to babysit, Tom was slightly cautious because of Dougie, but Gi was really happy that I was getting back on the horse and finally moving on from Dougie.

I turned and caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, I wore a floaty orange dress with wedges, my hair curled with a little volume. I packed a little purse with my phone and some money, also a few other essentials such as make up and breath mints. Before checking the time and reapplying lipgloss and perfume.

*knock knock*

"It's open." I had guessed it was James as he was coming to pick me up, I didn't even bother to go out to check I just carried on double checking every thing. I stood with my back to the mirror and the door as I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist, soft lips peppering my neck with kisses, I moaned quietly in satisfaction.

"You look gorgeous." James' stubble grazed along my sweet spot making me moan rather loudly. "sounds like your happy me just being here then. But I'm afraid that will have to wait until later." James pulled away, pulling my hand behind him loosely.

"Where are we going?" The car ride had only just started but curiosity was already getting the better of me, as usual.

"It's a surprise."

After a while sat in the car we drove I to some gravel, infront of a lake, there was nobody else in sight and the stars and moon were in perfect view. it was really romantic, but also the perfect place to kill someone...

"What are we doing here?"

"So many questions, come on, follow me." James ran around and opened my door for me, offering his hand and pulling me to the boot of his car. "This is for you, you'll be needing it, but you can open it until I say so. First we're going to have dinner." He handed me a Pink gift bag whilst he grabbed a big picnic basket and a blanket.

We walked along the edge of a lake until we found the perfect spot underneath a tree. He set out the blanket and set out some food and drink, we sat down and just talked, after the food we lay down, my head rested on his chest I could hear his steady heartbeat as we looked up at the stars.

"You know, when I was little my mum always used to bring me here. She always used to tell me that when I found, as cliché as it sounds 'the one' I was to bring her here. So I suppose, here we are."

I didn't look up at his face, I just lay still taking in the moment. Weirdly I felt the same way and it was just our fist date.

"You know, I've fallen way to fast into this, but I don't even care, because why should I?" James chuckled at my words, vibrations erupted in his chest and the steady heart beat vanishing into irregular noises until he calmed down.

"Right, time to go swimming!" James got up and ran to the boot of his car, grabbing towels and pulling off his shirt, leaving him in his trunks. His body was a lot more well built than I'd expecting and I couldn't help but allow my eyes to take over his toned torso.

"Like what you see do you? hop in then." He ran to the lake and got deeper into the water with each clumsy step, he gasped and splashed at the cold water hugging his body,clinging for warmth.

"I haven't got my swimming things. I can't."

"You can open the gift bag now." a smirk played on his lips as my face fell slightly at the realisation there was no way out of this icy cold water.

I opened the bag to find a bikini in my size and a little note attached that read. "no going back now." I chuckled at the irony of his message.

I got changed behind the tree, feeling a lot more confident than is expected I ran out towards James, squealing as the water froze my muscles. I jumped into his arms wrapping my arms around his neck and legs around his waist, clinging like a koala. I smashed my lips against him needily. I grasped for handful's of his hair, one of his hands trailed up to the side of my waist, taking his hands up and down as I groaned in anticipation.

He walked out of the water onto the bank, laying me down into the sand as his supported him self above me, barely breaking contact as he reached the back of my neck undoing the string of my bikini. I arched my back giving him space to undo the lower one. I threw it aside as his hands grasped my boobs.

"Fuck, please." my voice was breathless and gaspy as he moved back up to my neck, nipping and sucking as his hands stills concentrated on my boobs.

"Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah, please just hurry up."

Our damp clothes were thrown in various places as our breathless gasps became filled with need and impatience.

"God, fuck I love you, fuck." James moaned, lost in the moment but some how it felt right.
