Chapter 13

Doug's pov

So today's the day that the tour begins. were all packed up and well I'm absolutely petrified. It's me, Darcy and the twins. Me and Darcy, on tour, together. now?

We have been on talking terms, for the sake of the kids, mainly, but we've coped, we've stopped acting like kids and we are putting our differences aside. I owe so much to her, she has agreed to come with me, for the sake of my career, for the sake of the band, and for that I am grateful, just hope this tour will help us slowly sort things out.

I have been spending lots more time with the boys lately, in rehearsals and well we have talked about mine and Darcy's relationship, we agreed for now it's better if me and Darcy stay friends whilst we're on tour, it will just make thing a easier for everyone, so that there won't be any drama that will create atmosphere that will ruin the experience of the McBusted tour for us all. I suppose, I kind of agree, me and Darcy are getting on at the moment, were friends, we can have a laugh and joke about, I don't want to jeopardise that, not now.

"So doug, have you got all your stuff packed?" Darcy's voice shouted across the landing, where I could hear shuffling as she packed her final essentials into her suitcase. I followed her voice across the landing to see her sat on the suitcase and clothes seeping out of the sides.

"Darcy, the first leg is only two months, you have like 5 years worth of clothes." I chuckled lightly as she looked up giving me a glare before looking down and bursting into a fit of laughter.

"I'm a girl, what do you expect?" I scanned the room to see three or four suitcases spewing out clothes due to their fullness.

"Here, let me help you." I sat Dow. Next to her and opened the biggest suitcase. "what have you got in this one?"

"I have all my dresses, that I might need."

"How many bloody dresses do you have?" I chuckled slightly at the typical situation.

"Well, I have one for each night nearly." she pulled out the dresses holding them up, scanning them, before smiling.

"You can wash things you know, so you don't even need half of these. I have an idea, take a few casual and a few dressy, that way you can wear the casual if it gets hot as well as when we go out." She smiled and nodded before wrapping her arms around my neck and kissing my cheek. I felt myself blush like a little school child, like I used to before us, when I was madly in love with her, yet stuck in the friend zone, well, just like that again really.

Darcy's pov.

I kissed his cheek and felt the heat rise towards there as I moved away, I breathed out a silent giggle, I felt like we were school children again, both in love, yet stuck in the friend zone.

Me and the girls have decided it's best for me and Dougie to stay friends whilst on the tour, it's just easier for everyone, and I'm sticking to that.

Once all my suitcases had been reorganised with half the stuff, Dougie zipped them up and left the by the door. I grabbed the twins' already packed suitcases and left them with mine and Dougie's.

The twins were still napping and I had about half an hour left until they woke up, our car was coming to get us in about two hours to take us to the first venue, where the bus is.

Let's make an effort shall we, I felt like today I wanted to feel pretty. I ran upstairs silently and ran to my closet. I wales inside and stood in the middle looking around me at the half bare wardrobe. what can I wear?

Tom's pov.

I held my month old son in my arms, rocking him back and fourth singing softly. his eyes fluttered softly closed as my singing trailed off into barely a whisper.

"Heyy, you ready gi?" she walked into the living room smiling.

"Yeah, but just checking, you did talk to Doug about Darcy being out of bounds for the tour?" I nodded, sighing slightly knowing that our meddling was wrong, even if it was for the best.

My week....

Not much has happened this week, I was asked out on a date by this lad I'm speaking to, he was really adorable about it all, it's was just so sweet.

But apart from that, oh, my duke of edinborough expedition last week was eventful, I ended up screaming at this girl I hate in the middle of no where, I was crying and just an emotional mess if I'm honest. we were lost for three hours with the group of lads and the lad I'm talking to went and we had a really good weekend together apart from one arguement, camping was better than I expected, I thought it was going to be so awful but we had fun xxxx
