Hello, Elise!!!

I am SOOOOOO excited to start down this new project with you!!!! So, I know you know a lot about me already -- oh my heck, horoscopes are so scary! I used to read all about them until my Daddy told me about their history and now... yikers!

Yay! So glad you're a blogger, too! I've spent the past five years blogging on my awesome site, Run Girl Run!!! It's been a blast and I absolutely love all the fun new peeps that I get to meet through it! Who knew the world was filled with such sweet, sweet people and all so nice and interested in my life? I started out writing about my running and my quest for the elusive sub-3 marathon, but it's still a goal I haven't managed to achieve. Oh well! It'll keep me motivated! Right now I need all the motivation I can get because I recently got sidelined with an injury! The doc told me that it was stress fractures and I needed to stay off my feet and, above all, stop running for a while. He said at least six months but I know he was just trying to scare me... I'll be good as new in no time! Which is good, because without all those nummy endorphins, I hardly know what to do with myself! Sad!

My DH surprised me by filling out the application for #life for me; poor Hubster, he's totally bummed for me that my running (and my blog) have had to slow down while I recover. Such a sweetie! He found the link to the application when he was going through my bookmarks and filled it out, totally as a surprise for me! Seriously, what a blessing to have a guy so interested in getting me motivated again! And he took the time to do it, even though he's totally swamped at work!

My friends and I have a joke about me being the matchmaker... I've set up the first dates for the five couples who are our BFFs! No, seriously, I just seem to kind of KNOW when people belong together. It's such a gift! Although, unfortunately, one of them is getting a divorce now... :( So sad!

Speaking of which, I've read through the profiles you sent me and I agree with you that #14 is CRITICAL. I've got some peeps in that part of the country -- I'll send out a smoke signal and see what I can suss out for you! Shouldn't take me long at all! Derek, we'll get you back in the fold, pronto!

Ok, let me think!

I took the Disney prince quiz and, just like I thought, my prince is Prince Charming! Well, of course -- after all, we did have a Cinderella-themed wedding at Disney World two years, three months, and fourteen days ago. BEST. WEDDING. EVER. I'm just sayin'. And then we ran the Disney Half Marathon together the next day, in the CUTEST little running outfits that my mom and sissy sewed up for us! Prince Charming and Cinderella, running hand in hand! Of course, it didn't come anywhere near a PR for me, after all the YUMMY FOOD that I ate that weekend. Cotton candy = AWESOME!!!

OMGosh, I need to get going! I've got a Girls Night Out planned with twelve of my besties and I haven't done a THING to get ready for it. It's times like these that make me totally thankful for my eyelash extensions and eyebrow tint! All I need is a little swipe of lip gloss and -- BOOM! ready! Now, if only there were a way to disguise the air casts on my legs! Haha, just kidding!

I'll let you know when I hear back from my peeps about Derek #14, and we can work out a plan of attack!!! Haha, that sounds so violent! Don't be offended!

Talk to you soon!

XOXOXO,

Lindzi (aka RunnerGirl)
