LOVING your ideas for dates... Although... I kinda want to suggest that you send Toby & Brianna along for a total of six for SWAMPDATE; I think it's TOTES UP THEIR ALLEY and it would be fun to watch two nerds CRUSH all those beautiful people at something. (Just a thought, though, b/c SRSLY, it sounds like you have it in hand!!!)

And I think you're right about not letting the matches just linger on... Coming out of MEGADATE we had a bunch of matches fall apart on us -- Jay&Violet, Ron&Simone, Mario&Yesenia, and of course Ted&Lila (OK, so maybe M&Y are on their LAST LEGS but really, does anyone think they'll be hanging on much longer????) I'm thinking that NOT sending them on dates when they're "coupled up" might be causing some of the problems... Like they need something to WORK TOGETHER ON so that things don't just fizzle out after a brief honeymoon period (witness: Jay and the EATING -- I made a call and tried to TACTFULLY SUGGEST that he re-start his FITNESS REGIMEN now that he's got ALL THAT SPARE TIME (and a SPARE TIRE) since he's not flying back and forth to see Violet. Really, he was actually rather rude about it. OK, so I didn't know that NOT EVERY GUY is that interested in P90X. SRSLY, the Hubs LOVED it!!! (Until he strained his back and then he had to find something a little lower-stress for a while)).

Any-whooo, Let's see... R1&Ron, tropical surroundings, maybe with Kate & Tariq. Hmmm. Gotta say, I'm not sure I'm feeling Kate & Tariq, but hey, she thinks she's in love with Noah and it can't be any weirder than that, so why not???? Maybe his laid-back approach to life will help her tone down a little? Something spa-like might actually do the trick, unwind her a little. And the spa surroundings actually mean that the FOOD OPTIONS will be in the range of HEALTH FOODS that Ron tends to find APPROPRIATE, so perhaps we wouldn't get QUITE AS MUCH of a food fixation in his reflection... Although kinda wondering if R1 can HANDLE the idea of a SPA... Not quite like their rough & ready pioneer-girl upbringing, is it???

Will have to ponder the venue... What do we think about going OUT OF COUNTRY??? There are a couple of MEXICAN RESORTS that have been calling me repeatedly and BEGGING for #life to feature them... I know it might be a tad DANGEROUS but apparently their SECURITY IS TOTES PROFESSIONAL for their guests as long as you don't STRAY OFF THE RESERVATION... Might be fun to show the matches climbing around on those INCAN RUINS and that kind of things (Is it Incan or Mayan in Mexico?????? I can never keep that straight.)

I've been trying to think of ways to set up a date for Lila & Ethan... Seems like they probably need something that is A POLAR OPPOSITE from the tropical "think couples" date that we want to set up for our SLOW MOVERS set. (We know LILA needs VERY LITTLE ENCOURAGEMENT to "think couples".) And then it struck me; we're already a little worried that Zack might RELAPSE into his Violet crush, so what about if we have Zack and Dixie, along with Lila & Ethan, go to a NASCAR RALLY???? We've been contacted by a track in... Oh, I'll have to find the deets, but I've got them somewhere around here... Anyhoo, we've been contacted several times and I think that they'd LOVE to have us come in with some matches. And for that group, I think only Dixie knows ANYTHING about NASCAR, so she'd be able to tour-guide them around.

... Ah, here it is: Oh! It's the track in Las Vegas! TOTES doable for me; I can even call in our SoCal camera crew & get a chance to work with them again. Could even work in some LV sightseeing into the date... I can already see them silhouetted against the fountains at the Bellagio... OOOOH!!! Good ideas. I'll do some calling around and see if any of the venues around the city would like to be featured on a GROWING MULTIMEDIA PHENOMENON, as Ellen (!!!) just called us today...

Your news about Ted was (sadly) NOT A SURPRISE to me, because he must have called me IMMEDIATELY AFTER talking to you. He kept trying to tell me how a "shell corporation" is not "SHELL Corporation" and I was like, "Whatevs, but you can see the LEGIT CONFUSION since they are, AFTER ALL, the EXACT SAME WORDS."

He got all huffy and and said that was like saying it was legit to confuse British Petroleum with Bible Presbyterians, just because they use the same initials. WHATEVS.

Any-hoodles, just because he MADE ME PROMISE about SEVENTEEN TRILLION TIMES to tell you this, apparently he really thinks you should ask a lawyer about that shell corporation. That ISN'T SHELL Corporation, or Mobil, or even Bible Presbyterians. And he's also looking into some shady stuff that he says he "just happened to notice" when he was lurking around in my account. Something about "malware" and "worms" and "viruses" (is it me, or does all this computer stuff sound TOTES GROSS??? I mean, couldn't they have called it something that doesn't sound like someone who's dragging around with perpetual sneeze and a DRIPPY NOSE????)

He kept asking me if I had noticed a "suboptimal processing time" and something-or-other like that. NO CLUE what he was talking about, so I waved him off and said, "Sure, everything's fine, and I just changed my password like you asked me to."

I think he would have KEPT ON GOING (Ugh!) but I was TOTES SAVED BY THE BELL bc at that VERY MOMENT his other line pinged and he couldn't hang up fast enough because it was Paige.

Sending blessings in her direction, I hung up and glared at DH, who had been listening in and laughing.

"When did you end up talking to computer geeks, Lindzi?"

"I'll have you know I am friends with TONS OF SMART PEOPLE," I haughtily informed him.

"He must be one of your dating show losers."

Whatevs. I will have to admit that I've had to interact with a MUCH WIDER VARIETY of people since starting with #life. Although I WOULD appreciate it if they didn't call me and talk about BORING COMPUTER STUFF for hours.

Forwarding you another six-page email from Ted about corporations and I think some of that icky worm-and-virus stuff. Blech, makes me feel sick just thinking about it. No, REALLY sick.

Huh, wonder if I'm coming down with something after MEGADATE. Isn't that something that happens a lot when people go to those big gatherings? I think they even have a term for it... I'm sure I've heard Paige say it...

OK, I think that covers the pressing business of the moment!!! I'm off to do some research about possible DATE VENUES!!!
