Been doing my homework while catching up on our match situ post MEGADATE. Thought I should drag out my nifty chart and see where we are at with everyone, start thinking new flowers of the week etc.

So, COUPLES UPDATES: we seem to have--

Lila&Ethan (again, can't get over your genius hooking that one up in the MIDST OF MAJOR CRAPSTORM WITH ALL THOSE CONFUSING WENCHES AND ZOMBIES RUNNING AROUND--that kind of presence of mind is what has preserved empires in the past)

Simone&Igor holding...bizarrely strong, for the moment. Should we let that alone????

Keith&Becky/R2 (I honestly think his being pitched from that horse by R1 was a MAJOR BLESSING IN DISGUISE. Well, now, anyway, that he has been released from the hospital with only two minor fractures, concussion and some bruised ribs...Becky taking the time out to REMAIN WITH HIM FOR THE DURATION OF HIS PHYSICAL THERAPY is just....so.....again Greys Anatomy is hopping into mind but I'm not exactly recalling which episode. But something VERY HOSPITAL/ROMANTIC.

R1/Rachael&Ron...Am I seeing things there???? Don't want to be imagining Romance mirages here (Ryan so accuses me of that when I start projecting "chemistry" between news anchors or his political candidates...seriously though, how boring is it just to sit there and listen to what they are talking about...DO WE REALLY WANT TO FIXATE FOREVER ON THE WEATHER, OR HEAVEN FORFEND, ILLEGAL ALIENS ENTERING THE COUNTRY??? I mean, even laying aside for the moment the issue of whether it is really the right thing to do, IS AMERICA ACTUALLY AT THE POINT WITH OUR CURRENT TECHNOLOGY TO BE ABLE TO STOP THE MEXICANS FROM LANDING SPACECRAFT IN THE TEXAS DESERT ANYWAY????) I really don't think the media has accorded this issue the attention it deserves.

Okay, where was I?

Oh yes, Ron&R1--we have had the issue with Ron previously (see Simone, SHARKDATE) where we DID NOT LATCH ONTO THE ATTRACTION early and LOST THE SPARK. I suggest we SPRING INTO ROMANTIC HYPERDRIVE on this possibility of R1 with Ron and GET THOSE TWO OUT THERE...I am seeing something lush and steamy for them....couples' massage, something tantric...wild birds and monkeys calling wild mating cries from the palm trees...are you getting the sense of this???? Something where THE CONCEPT OF COUPLEHOOD IS NOT VERY SUBTLY/GRAPHICALLY REPRESENTED UNDER THEIR NOSES.

Ok. Ted&Paige--so I sort of snooped Paige's pages (just can't get over that wordplay!!!! So sorry!!!!!) Facebook, Twitter, her 5 blogs (what the hell is that???? And each blog is like its own Wikipedia tome) and CAN'T HELP BUT NOTICE she APPEARS TO HAVE A NEW FIXATION ON--heheh--YOU GUESSED IT, SCHNOODLE PUPPIES, PUGS, AND THE WONDERS OF COMPUTER WHATEVERS. I THINK THIS IS A SIGN. Regretfully, and with great restraint, I have PULLED MYSELF BACK FROM THE BRINK on trying to interfere with these two--pursuing the waterpark theme while subtly reintroducing the shark motif was OHSOTEMPTING--(CAN I JUST SAY--SEAWORLD????) I REALLY WANT TO KNOW where the boundary line between Paige's THRILL RIDING INSTINCTS (ex. Haunted grotto) and TRAUMATIC PHOBIA (see SHARKDATE) is located.
