Hiya, Elise!!!

OMGosh, TERRIBLE NEWS about Zelda and Ryan!!! So, SOOOOOO SORRY!!!! Let me know if you need me to do anything to help out...

Well, I watched the flowers flying around with interest, and noticed that Noah hasn't been sending anything, or even active on his account, for a while. I thought it was time to give him a call and check in.

"Hi, Lindzi!", he chirped happily, although there was some sort of road noise (or people?) going on in the background that made it kinda hard to hear him.

"Hi, Noah! I just wanted to check in because I realized we'd been leaving you out of some of the recent dates on #life... How are you doing?"

I could hear the grin in his voice. "AWESOME!!! And I LOVED seeing D&Z get married in Vegas -- CONGRATS on arranging that, Lindzi -- what a RATINGS COUP!!!!"

I demurred modestly (because of course I can't take credit for it... that was DEFS on the camera crew, but WHATEVS).

Then his voice took on a tragic timbre. "I've been putting off calling you," he said, "because my agent wants me to sign up for BIGGER THINGS than a dating show, now that my career has been TAKING OFF."

"Oh..." I said, sympathetically. I don't think either you or I are completely surprised at this news, but it's still a bummer if he's pulling out.

"So it's been good that you've made my presence light since the Ren Faire," he said.

"Ya know," I said musingly -- and this is actually what Kevin had wanted to tell me about and I TOTES FORGOT BC of the ELOPEMENT DRAMA in Vegas -- "We've got an opportunity with a VERY WELL KNOWN producer there in Hollywood to set up a new show... sort of a cross between American Idol, The Voice, and Dancing with the Stars, and they EXPRESSLY wanted YOU to be the host of the show. Sorta our Ryan Seacrest -- but they'd also give you LOTS OF TIME for your own performances and that kind of thing, and you'd be free to tour when the season isn't filming."

"Really?" He sounded intrigued. "I haven't really made it onto TV too much, and that DOES sound interesting..."

"It'd be sort of a spin-off of #life," I mentioned, "to take advantage of the fact that you were with us on our first season that went VIRAL."

He was quiet for a few minutes and I started to worry that I'd lost the connection, but then he returned. "Just used my OTHER PHONE to call my agent and he thinks it's a BIG YES!!! Although of course he'll want to see all the details and so on, but I know I would LOVE to do it!!!!"

A weight I didn't know I'd been carrying had lifted off my shoulders. "Oh hooray! Maybe then we can maintain a light presence until the end of the show, to give you time with everything else... do you think you could block off a day in a week or so for our GRAND FINALE DATE??? I'd like to have you there with everyone else."

He sounded thoughtful. "I could probably swing one day," he said eventually, "although that's contingent on my agent -- I'll get back to you, though! Oh, and hey, Lindzi..."

"Yeah?"

"I was thinking, let's get Mario involved in this, too -- he's got the KNOW-HOW and EXPERTISE with the genre, and he'd be SUCH A BIG HELP. We could even be CO-HOSTS!!!"

Sweet of him, wasn't it, being willing to share the limelight??? I knew that co-hosting would be a big fat NO for the producers, but I was sure that having another #life alumnus with some experience in the music competition TV genre would come in handy, so I gave him a hesitant, "I'll check in with them and float the idea, OK?"

"AWESOME!!!" I could hear talking in the background. "Hey, I'm being called away, but I'll see if I can log in sometime this week and get back up to speed with #life. And I'll definitely PUSH for your GRAND FINALE DATE, so that I can be there! So don't get rid of me yet!!!"
