I open the file attached to see a picture of his hand, all his fingers down except for his pinky, which is raised up like a pinky promise.

I do the same, lifting my pinky and taking a picture.

Me: did you get to see your mom today?

Justin: yeah, i saw her and had lunch with her

Me: how did it go? you told me you do that every year

Justin: i think i made my mom cry internally

Justin: I mean I told her I met this girl and you know, parents are so worried about their kids being fooled online and all that
