Lucas's mom had called Maya's mom, and invited her and Maya over for dinner. The dinner was going to be this Friday, and Lucas was exited for their parents to bond. The dinner was tomorrow, and he was really glade for that. Today he was having a really bad day. One's in a while he just feel like punching someone in the face for no reason, and he really didn't want to go to school feeling like that. He decided that he has to talk to his mama about this. He walks down stairs, and into his kitchen, were his mama was making breakfast.

Lucas - Good morning, mama.

Amy - Good morning, Lucas. How are you feeling today.

Lucas - Like I want to punch someone.

Amy - Ohh, you are having one of those days today.

Lucas - Yeah. I'm really afraid that I'm gonna punch someone today. I always do when I'm having one of those days.

Amy - You can stay home today if you want, but you have to get someone to bring you your homework after school.

Lucas - Okay, mama. I will get Maya to come over with them later.

Amy - Okay, I'll see you later. I need to get to work.

Lucas - Okay, bye.

Amy - Bye.

Lucas eats some breakfast, and talks up to his bedroom. He sits down on his bed, and grabs his phone. Lucas had to send a message to Maya before school started.

Lucas - Hey, Maya. I'm sick today, can you come over with my homework after school?

Maya - Okay. I'll see you later, Huckleberry. I love you.

Lucas - I love you too, my little short stack of pancakes.

After he texts Maya, Lucas decide to just lay down on his bed and try to calm down. Sometimes he really wished that he had a punching bag.

Lucas - Hello, Babe.

Maya - Hey, Huckleberry. Here are your homework. So, how are you feeling?

Lucas - Good. Well, I will see you tomorrow at school then.

Maya - You want me to leave? I was thinking we could hang out for a little while.

Lucas - Listen, I have a really short temper today, and I really don't want to hurt you. So, can you please leave?

Maya - No

She jumps on him, so he falls down on his bed, Maya on top of him.

Lucas - Maya, what are you doing?

Maya - I'm trying to calm you down

Lucas - How is this helping me calm down?

Maya - You can't stand up, so you wouldn't hurt anyone.

Lucas - You know that I'm strong enough to get you off me, right?

Maya - Yeah, I know, but you wouldn't. You love me too much to ever hurt me.

Lucas - Your right about that. Thank you for being you Maya. For not being afraid of me when I get angry. For containing me. I love you so much, Maelynn Penelope Hart.
