Here's a little thing I've learnt this past week.
When your friend tells you not to kill yourself, don't get mad.
"But you don't understand!"
"You try living with this then!"
"Do you want me to suffer?"
Don't say these things to them, don't even think them!
No, they probably don't understand... But at least they're trying really hard to.
You don't really want them to live like that, you're glad really that they don't. They know you're hurting, they want to help...
No, they definitely do not. They want you alive and well, not dead in the ground...
If they're willing to spend day after endless day trying to keep you alive then you've really got someone special.
So maybe you expect them to leave you, just like everybody else does. At least they're here now, right?
So maybe you still think they're lying, just like everybody else does. What if they're not?
Sometimes those "too good to be true" people really are just that.
But sometimes they're "once in a lifetime" people.
Once in a life time's like snow in August, it's extremely rare but it does happen.
