My Friend Ana
I have a friend called Ana, I see her everyday.
She's by me when I wake up, to get me through okay.
Ana has a mean streak, she promised me perfection.
But all she really gave me, was a poor and frail complexion.
Ana likes to hurt me, she takes away my food.
She makes me fear the mirror, and there's nothing I can do.
Ana promises to comfort me, yet only brings me pain.
The horror that she brings me, to her is all a game.
Ana wasn't meant to stay forever, but now she's always there.
You can't get away from Ana, she'll stay with with you everywhere.
Ana whispers in my ear, no matter what I do.
She threatens to end me, dare I except some food.
Ana finds these mind games fun, so there's just one thing to do.
Don't let Ana get too close, she'll be the end of you...
