To Be Depressed

Time's Like An Inhaler

Time....

Its a four letter word.

Its with us everyday.

Its constant, it never changes.

Therefore, I should like it.

It is consistent with my personality to like things that are constant and unchanging.

But time is an exception.

For once I'd like time to stop.

Maybe for a year, maybe for an hour, maybe just for a second.

I just want it to stop.

For a break.

So I can pause, catch my breath, and breath freely for the first time.

I have noticed that time slips by way too fast.

We can't catch it, or hold it, or freeze it.

Not even for a moment.

But for once, I'd like to be unable to waste, or use, time.

I want it to stop, I want to know that for once there is no such thing as time.

But that can't happen.

There is a reason why time doesn't stop.

What if time stopped when somebody was dying?

They would be trapped in a world of unyielding pain, and time wouldn't save them.

Would you wish that on anybody? No.

Time is a gift to some and a burden to others.

Time cannot stop because the suffering would outweigh the positives, as it always does.

Since time cannot and will not stop, we just have to wait for our own time to run out.

Don't wait around for our inevitable and looming deaths.

Time is like an inhaler, use it and breath...
