"It's okay not to be okay."
But it's also okay to be okay. The quote is true, absolutely, but people forget that they can be okay too - especially depressed people.
You have a right to be okay. There's nothing wrong with saying;
"Today I am okay and that's fine."
Because you know what? It is fine!
Sometimes you get used to the depression. It's familiar - comforting in some messed up way - and you forget how to function without it.
But depression can't be your safety blanket, because it's not safe.
It's a dangerous place that's easy to become stuck in.
Don't get stuck.
If you're okay, enjoy it while it lasts and cling to the feeling - don't push it away just because it seems new and scary.
It will be okay, if you let it.
You know who can make you okay? You.
You know who can kick depressions ass? You.
But do you know who's holding you back? You...
Don't be your own worst enemy...
Okay's like a gift, unwrap it and just enjoy it.
