A person will sit outside.

A calm breeze brushing the hair off their face.

A smile on, what used to be, unsmiling lips.

There are children laughing in the background, a kind of music.

Animals are littered across the landscape; birds, a cat, a dog, butterflies.

There's somebody else cooling food somewhere near by.

Somebody who makes the person burn with love.

A person who's been there for a long time and earned those feelings.

The food is the person's favourite.

Their stomach longer clenching at the smell, no longer cringing away from it.

There is no fear now.

Not of food.

Not of never-ending sadness.

Not of their own skin.

Now it's better.

Now life if good.

There is something pure about the world again.

Something the person lost a long time ago.

And has struggled hard to find again.

Who is this person?

You.

But only if you chose to be.

Only if you keep on struggling.

You can have it all if you just keep going.

Don't become another statistic.

Become you.

A you who is better.

A you who is good.

And pure.

But, most importantly, be a you who is free.

The future's like living, you have to choose it.
