Stop caring!
Just stop!
I know that's easier said than done, it definitely is. But that doesn't mean it's not worth trying not to care.
Think about it, those people that call you names or bully you or whatever it is that is upsetting you - do they really matter?
Will what they think stop you from having kids, reading your favorite story, listen to your music? No.
Will they stop you from smiling, make you feel bad about yourself, kill you? Only if you let them.
You can slap a smile on your face anyway and walk away with your head held high because you were strong and didn't let them get to you.
You did that, and that's pretty amazing.
If they did take away your smile? Don't think about that blade, don't cry, don't let them hurt you.
You can come to me and leave me a message or a comment saying what happened.
Ranting really helps, trust me. I love a good rant so I'm always happy for you to!
Or go and read your favorite story, listen to your favorite music, or just smile.
Smiling releases endorphins which will actually make you feel better, that's a fact.
People can and will hurt you, and it will effect you - some days more than others - but that doesn't mean it has to control you.
Do you know who controls you?
You.
You control you!
Not those people being mean to you.
Not your parents.
Not your friends.
Not that little voice inside your head telling you that you deserve it or that it's true.
Only you.
People have the freedom to say whatever they like.
But you're free too!
You have the freedom to believe whatever you like!
If you care, you're letting people chain you up and control you.
Not caring's like freedom, it's the only way to release the chains.
