Hey, guys!

Let's have a chat.

So maybe you guys have noticed, but there some taboo subjects that I have not mentioned on here. Which you might find unusual since everything included in the book is socially considered taboo on some level.

One important subject being: sexuality.

I specifically haven't touched on this topic before. However! It's a new year so if I'm going to start talking about it now would be the time, and if talking about this topics can help any of you I'm all for it.

Why have I not written about sexuality before?

Because I didn't think I had anything relevant to say about this.

But not because I'm straight.

I'm actually asexual.

That's something I don't like to say often, only if it's completely necessary.

Why?

Because, yeah, I am a little embarrassed by it. I shouldn't be, but I am.

Then I realised that I'm only embarrassed because very few people are seen talking about it!

I've tried to find more videos of asexuality on YouTube, but there's not really a lot to find.

If more people spoke about it, it would be easier for people to be open about it. Which is the same for every taboo subject, not just sexuality.

So I've decided to talk about it. Right now.

Terrifying, but I'm doing it.

For those of you who are confused, here is the official definition of asexuality;

Asexual (noun): a person who has no sexual feelings or desires.

That means I've never fancied anyone. Ever.

That does not mean I don't obsess over people, but I do not feel sexual attraction towards people. At all.

It's an odd thing to grasp, I know.

I thought I was just a late bloomer, but at this point I'm very sure that I'm just not a bloomer at all. And that's okay.

I'm not sure what you guys would like to know about asexuality, so here's the plan.

You can all leave comments or message me asking me anything you'd like to know. I don't mind what the questions are, they can be whatever you'd like to know. A male friend of mine once asked me some very personal and graphic questions, so I'm sure you can't shock me at this point!

Taboo's are like a door, eventually you've got to open them to go anywhere new.
