I never felt this awake, ever. Usually, after a workout at the gym, i tend to go to bed early BUT i met Hyo Rin again when i was on my way back to the car and surprisingly, she was on her way for dinner, alone. I didnt know whether i should be offended or what, it took me by surprised when she said she didnt remember me at all! Chicks usually remember me and that was the first time when a girl, a woman, couldnt recalled back who am i until i reminded her that i was the ajusshi that used the perfume that was on display.
"Oh, Mr. Sensual!" She exclaimed and i burst out laughing. Mr. Sensual? What the hell?
"You bought that sensuality perfume," she said, frowning a little,"Men who came to ask about that perfume usually they asked whether its suitable or not before having sex."
And yet again, her outspoken manner had caught me off balance. I laughed at her straightforwardness.
"What did you tell them?" I had to ask because i really want to know what her answer usually would be.
"I told them that i was a virgin and stick to that story," she said and when she said it, she didnt even blush or looked embarrassed. Virgin? What? She's still a virgin?
"You're still a virgin?" I asked and she laughed. Why on earth did she laugh?
"I dont think the sidewalk is a suitable place for me to reveal about my sexuality, ajusshi," she replied,"Want to join me for dinner?"
"Dinner? You're actually asking a stranger out for dinner. What if im some kind of pervert or serial killer?"
Again, she laughed and her reply was,"If you are one, you would had stalked me yesterday. Followed me home, tied me up, gag me etc."
Man, this girl made me to start admiring her. From her sassy replies and her smart mouth, it really caught me off guard. This girl, is definitely not a shy type.
"Look, i have free dinner coupons but its for two. If i were to eat alone, i have to pay normal price, and its quite expensive," she said quickly,"Its okay, if you dont want to. I understand. We just met and i dont even know your name."
"Kim Jong Kook," i intoduced myself,"And i didnt say that i didnt want to go for dinner."
She smiled brightly.
I tagged along and usually, i offer a ride in my car at women but this, Hyo Rin, wasnt like any other women that i had ever met. She wasnt that pretty though her long lashes suits her brown eyes perfectly. Her pixie haircut suits her character and i realised that she was actually shorter than i am. About a head shorter. I didnt realised where were going until i followed her entering a sushi restaurant. Hah! No wonder she said it was expensive to eat alone. We sat at the counter after she gave the waitress her coupon for two.
"I only get to pay add ons," she whispered happily,"Only God knows how much i craved for sushi."
Add ons eh? Then, an inner conflict in me began to argue among themselves. I want to be friends with her without her knowing how rich i am but then, it was uncomfortable for me to let her to pay for the meals, even though just add ons.
"I havent introduce myself," she said to me, offering a handshake,"My name is Kim Hyo Rin."
"Nice to meet you," i shook her hand,"You can stop calling me ajusshi now since you already know my name."
"What to call you then? Oppa?"
"Yeah, that sounds good."
"How old are you to be called oppa?"
Damn. Do i look that old?
"41," i told her about my age.
"You're already old enough to be called ajusshi!" She said.
"No, please. Not ajusshi. You're not that young, i assumed," i said quickly,"How old are you anyway?"
"15 years younger than you are, oppa," she said on purpose, smiling slightly.
"26? A perfect age to have a boyfriend," i said.
"I dont have a boyfriend. If i do have one, i wont be asking a new found friend out for dinner," she said,"And apparently, my new found friend too is still single as well."
I was so surprised when she said that and i didnt even tell her anything about be still being single. How on earth did she know?
"No ring on your finger, not even a mark if you were to take it off. Plus, you look a little too casual for a married man," she added, spookily answering my thoughts.
"Girl, you're good," i said,"How can you tell?"
"What if i tell you that im actually a vanpire who can actually read minds?" She jokingly asked.
"A vampire who enjoys sashimi?" I couldnt help myself but to laugh,"You're not pretty enough to become one."
Hyo Rin's laughter surprisingly addictive and sounded like a sweet melody and her laughter rang in my ears for hours.
I laid on my bed, staring at the ceiling of my bedroom, recalling back the dinner that i had with her and it was the best dinner i had ever go to.
