The weirdest thing happened. I got a boyfriend. But that's not the weird part.

First I should start off saying his name. Nick. His name is Nick. The guy who I was messaging.

So we met for the first time the Tuesday after President's Day. He was tall, blonde, with blue eyes. We wore his hair slick back like he was a greaser. His hair was SUPER straight which was kind of weird because he had side burns that were thick and curly.

He was really nice.

We met at lunch at the school mural. He took me to where he usually hangs out.

He introduced me to his friends but I already new them. One of his friends included the last guy I dated, Manny. It's been thirteen months since we dated.

He introduced me as his girlfriend which almost adequate me choke. He never once asked me out. I thought we were just talking. I personally don't like dating people that I meet online because I watch too many movies.

When he told his friends I was his girlfriend there were only two people that didn't say a word: Manny and I.
I don't know why Manny was being so quiet but I did not say anything because I was lost for words.

It's not that I did not want to date Nick that made me so lost for words. It's because I didnt know if I want to date him. I barely know the guy.

I decided to not make a big deal about this and give him a chance.

As soon as lunch was over I ran to the locker room and told Cindy. The first thing she told me was, "No. No. No. You can't date him. I don't like him."

I laughed. She said she doesn't approve of him. She said it's because he's a gamer and she doesn't like video games.

She asked me what about Daniel.

And I told her the complete truth.

No matter who I date I will always like Daniel more than them. There is just something about him that I can't find in any other guy. It's physically impossible for me to like a guys as much as I like Daniel .

After school I told my mom about Nick but she didn't believe me at all. She just laughed and went on with her day.

The next day before school we hung out. We hung out in the corner of the school were you could find all the couples making out.

We talked and got to know each other even more. I found out that he is not the smartest guy in our school. He is behind on credits. Once I told him the classes I was taking he told me he struck gold. He said that I was the pretty and cute one in the relationship.

"Look I need to tell you something" he said. The first thing that popped into my head was 'oh crap he wants to end things.' I was scared to hear what he was going to say next.

"I want to kiss you you. Can I kiss you?" He said. I was kind of shocked to hear that. Usually a guy would just kiss me if he wanted to kiss me.

"Kiss me then." I said as I took a step closer to him.

Without a doubt this was the worst kiss ever. It didn't even lady long enough to be consider even a peck. My first kiss in 2nd grade was better than this kiss.

When he leaned in to kiss me it was as quick as a jet. And he kept his eyes open the whole time. By the time I closed my eyes we already finished the kiss. His lips where small and dry.

Parts of me feel like that was his first kiss judging by how long it lasted and how awkward it was. But I didn't say anything.

Everyday at lunch for the passed eight days I would hang out with him and his friends. And to get his friends we would have to pass by Daniel. Which meant I walk by Daniel eight times while holding another guys hand. The worst part is each of these eight days I imagined that it was him holding my hand instead of Nick.
