Chapter 41

Austin's POV

It was now Friday morning and I had to get up early once again for a meeting with my management. I was pretty excited because it was planned to be about my album release date, I've have been working non-stop on it and I was pretty happy on how it was turning out. The bad part was that I hardly saw my friends or Kat anymore which sucked. I missed hanging out with my boys but I mostly missed Kat more than ever. I just wanted to hold her and kiss her repeatedly, not going to lie but I missed having sex with her, I know what you're thinking 'horny teenager' but honestly when we had sex it was the most intimate and most realest thing I've ever done with any girl.

"Austin you ready to go?" Joe knocked on my door.

"Yeah, I'll be out there in a few." I slipped a snapback on my head before walking out to the car.
The ride was silent and boring so I decided to text Kat. I felt terrible because I missed her first game last night and I totally forgot to text her asking how it went.

To Kat:
Good morning babe. Heading to a meeting about my album, I'm really excited. Have a good day at school.

She responded within a few seconds.

To Austin:
Morning handsome! Wow I'm so proud of you, you've been working so hard on it! I'll talk to you later, I'm running late to school.

Wow now she was the one who didn't have time for me. Oh how the tables have turned.

We soon arrived at the Universal Republic headquarters where my meeting was taking place. Shortly after being seated down, my management walked in.

"Austin!" One of my managers Rocco Valdes greeted me, behind him followed Michael Blumstein.

"Rocco, Mike." I stood up to greet both of them.

"So how's the album looking?" Rocco took a seat and we all followed.

"Great!" I said happily. "I've recorded and wrote a few songs and I'm pretty happy with how their turning out."

"I knew you had it in you kid." Mike patted my back.

"Thanks guys, it means a lot." I gave my team a smile.

"So when do you guys think that I should release the album?" I asked once I let them listen to a few songs.

"Well Austin, we were thinking that you should work with some producers down in LA." Rocco stated.

"Really? That would be awesome!" I've missed LA so much!

"Good because you need to pack your bags, you're leaving at the end of the month." Mike added.

"That's so dope, thanks guys." I went up to hug them. Over the past years that I've known them, I've grown so close to them.

"And pack heavily, you're staying in LA for a couple months." Rocco hit me with the unexpected news.

"Couple as in how many?" I tried not to freak out.

"Depends on how you do down there. I'm not sure yet." My heart sunk. I would have been perfectly fine with weeks but months? Just when I was starting to see someone.
Just my damn luck.

Kat's POV

"Wow, I think you rock my jersey better than I do." Ethan leaned against my locker. It was finally Friday which meant that tonight was the first football game. I was wearing Ethan's jersey, American Eagle ripped skinny jeans, and white Vans. Because Ethan came and supported me last night at my game, I decided to wear his jersey.
