Loving You Is Easy

Chapter 49

"You ready?" Ethan asked me as we pulled up to the party.

"I'm so ready to have fun." I laughed as we got out of the car.
We walked up to the house and let me tell you, the house was dead packed and it was only 9. It was only 9 and there already were beer cans out on the front lawn.

"Stay close baby." Ethan held a strong hold on my hand as we entered the crowded house.
Just as you would imagine, as soon as we walked in, the air felt so stuffy. There was guys in the back smoking weed and they were vaping from the other end so the air was gross.  

"I'm gonna go get some drinks, I'll be right back." He whispered in my ear as he disappeared through the crowd of people.

I decided to get comfortable and go sit on the couch. Me being the social butterfly that I was, ended up making a conversation with the girls that were on the couch.
Minutes later Ethan returned with 2 red solo cups in hand.

"Thank you." I smiled up at him. "What is it?"

"I honestly have no fucking idea." He laughed. "Just drink it."

Five minutes later Ethan was gone. And I don't mean like physically gone like missing but like mentally gone if that makes sense. He typically is a heavy drinker so I wasn't really surprised to see him that way. I'm usually a drinker myself but I was the DD because I knew Ethan so well.
I let him go with his friends because they were sort of drunk themselves so it was pretty funny seeing them all like that.

"No drinking for you?" Sandra came up behind me.

I held up my drink. "Just one."

"That is so not like you." She chuckled as she took a sip of her drink.

"Well." I pointed over to Ethan and his group of drunk friends.

"Ah such a good girlfriend." She wrapped her arm around me.

"Ya know it." I smirked.

"So how's it going between you two?"

I sighed and looked over at my drunk lover. "Good. So good. I'm happy."

"Awh Kat." She gushed. "I'm glad, you deserve it girl!"

"Thanks S. What about you and AJ?" AJ and Sandra have gotten pretty close but they haven't gotten exclusive.

"You know just waiting for him to ask me to be his girlfriend." She fake smiled.

"S he digs you so much! I don't know what's taking that punk so long." I rolled my eyes.

"Who's a punk?" AJ suddenly popped out of nowhere.

"Speak of the he man." I laughed.

"Yeah whatever." AJ mocked. I always gave him shit so I'm guessing he knew what we were talking about.

"See you later Kat." Sandra waved as AJ pulled her away.

After being left alone for a couple minutes I felt the urge to use the bathroom so I wandered off looking for the bathroom. I had no idea whose house this was or where the bathroom was so I wandering for a good 5 minutes until someone tapped on my shoulder.

"You lost?" A voice yelled through the music.

"Kinda." I turned around to face the person and I nearly peed my pants once I realized who it was.
