Chapter 6

Austin's POV

Katherine. Her name was Katherine, she had a beautiful name. I was in a daze when I saw her. Long light brown hair, hazel eyes, and she was so tiny. Her outfit fit her amazing body perfectly, a turquoise spaghetti strap shirt that revealed part of her belly, a pair of white shorts, a black beanie, & galaxy vans.

I'm not one of those people who believes in love at first sight, but from the moment I first saw her, I knew that I had to make her mine.

"Mom I'm home!" I yelled as I walked inside my house.

"Austin sweetie where have you been all morning?" questioned my mom Michele.

"I was just walking around." I told her.

"Without Joe? Austin you know how dangerous that is. You could have gotten hurt." mom told me.

"Mom relax, I know how dangerous that is. That's why I had my sunglasses and snapback on while I was out. Plus nobody caught me, its fine." I told her as I went to the refrigerator to grab a water bottle.

"You got lucky this time. Honey next time take Joe." mom stated.

"Okay mom, I promise."

"So what are you doing tonight?" mom asked.

"I don't know, probably chill with my boys."

"Sounds fun. Oh dang, I have to go Austin." she said as she glanced at her phone.

"Where you off to?" I questioned as I took a sip of my water.

"Job interview."

"Mom what do you need a job for? You know I make enough money to support the both of us and so you wont have to work."

"I know Austin and I'm completely grateful for that but you're growing up and you're in the studio 24/7, you don't need me anymore. Plus, I have nothing to do most of the time so why not get a part time job?"

"I guess you're right." I agreed. "What job you applying for?"

"A secretary, cant you tell by the way I'm dressed." she joked.

"I hadn't noticed your outfit, you look beautiful mom." I told her as I got up.

"Thank you Austin." she smiled at me.

"Good luck mom, I know you'll do great" I kissed her cheek.

After mom left I went up to my room and logged onto Twitter.

As I was scrolling down, I noticed a picture of when I bumped into Katherine earlier.

The caption read,

"Mahone spotted talking to a mystery girl."

I swear the media gets these things up on the internet faster than the speed of light.

To be honest I couldn't stop staring at Katherine, the paps got a side picture of her but she still looked stunning.

I saved the picture and tweeted it with the caption,

"Met this gorgeous girl today, all I got was her name. Hope to see her again."

Katherine's POV

My first day of school wasnt that bad to be honest. I met some amazing people, Marissa, the one in my p.e. class, turns out she's in my science class too. Ashley, I later met her in my English class. And of course the boys; Cam, AC, Zach, and Rob.

Right now I was in what the school calls "free hour." It's basically where you get that period off. Luckily I had that class at the end of the day so I took that opportunity to do homework so I wouldn't have to do it later. As I was doing my homework, I felt my phone vibrate indicating that I had gotten a text.
