Chapter 31

"Austin scoot over." I groaned.

"Leave me alone." Austin mumbled in his sleep.

"Ugh." I groaned. He was taking up all the space on my bed so I decided to get up.

"I thought you were dead." AC laughed as he saw me come down the stairs.

"Not yet AC, not yet." I chuckled as I went to the refrigerator and grabbed a water bottle. The whole "crew" were scattered in the kitchen and living room.

"So what club are we hitting up tonight?" Robert smirked.

"It's called Island, they get pretty turnt there." I took a sip of my water.

"How are we gonna get turnt if none of us are 21?" Cam asked.

"I got you guys. I've been going there since I turned 16 last year." I proudly smiled.

"Woah woah back up. You're barley 16?!" Alysa sounded pretty surprised.

"More like 16 and a half, my birthday is coming up." I shrugged.

"How is that even possible?" Ashley asked in confusion.

"How is what possible?" A tired Austin said from the bottom of the staircase.

"Austin your girl over here is 16." Rob laughed.

"And a half!" I added.

"Holy shit I thought you were 17!" Austin looked pretty awake now.

"I am, in a few months." I said pretty annoyed. "Let me explain."

"Well go on." Austin sat next to me.

"So yeah when I was smaller I didn't go to kindergarten, I skipped it cause I was too smart. It's no big deal, I'm just turning 17 when you guys are turning 18." I rolled my eyes.

"I almost got held back in kinder cause I couldn't color inside the lines." Cam blurted out.

"Well isn't that sad." Austin laughed. "I don't care if you're 16 or 18, you're still my girl." He turned his direction to me.

I smiled at him and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "So y'all ready for tonight?" I said excitedly.

"At what time are we leaving?" Ashley questioned.

"9 or 9:30 around there." I answered. "It's 7:30 right now so we need to start getting ready at around 8." I was mostly talking to the girls.

"Alright sounds good." Rob said.

It was currently 8:25 and I was in my bedroom bathroom and was just finishing up applying the last of my makeup when my phone buzzed.

From: Unknown
Heard you where in town, way to let me know😐

I quickly replied back.

To: Unknown
Wtf who's this?!

I set my phone back down and plugged in my curling iron while I waited for the unknown number to respond.
When we made to move to Florida, I completely lost my phone which had my contacts in it so I didn't have any of my friends from Nevada's numbers.
I parted my hair into two sections and clipped one part back so I could focus only on one section.

It's me Monique, please don't tell me that you forgot about me Kat.

To: Unknown
Monique?!?!? Baby I missed you so much call me nowww!!!

And a few seconds later, my phone rang. "Hello?" I answered.

"Kat!!!!" An all to familiar voice came from the other end.
