Chapter 48

months later.

Austin's POV

It's been months. Too many months. I'm still in LA and I'm doing pretty good up here but I still can't get Kat out of my head. I've tried to accept the fact that she's better off without me and the drama I could bring. I can't help but think about her all the time. I guess you can say that it's kind of a good thing because I'm writing a lot of songs about her.

"You're gonna love me." Mike walked in my room.

"What?" I turned my direction from my phone to him.

"You know how you've been wanting to go back to Miami for the longest time?" He asked excited. I nodded my head at him indicating for him to go on. "Well I talked to the producers and they said that you can go back to Florida. The album is mostly done and they think you can finish a song or two back home. So pack your bags because we leave bright and early tomorrow!"

Kat's POV

"Kat honey you have to get up!" My mom beeped through the intercom. "It's almost noon sweetie!"

I managed to sit up and ring her back. "I'm up, I'm up." I looked over at my clock and groaned. It was 11:30am on a Saturday and I was exhausted.
I dragged myself to my bathroom to shower and get ready for the day.

"Ethan you're doing it wrong." I chuckled. "You're suppose to find the cosines and then add."

He sighed as he erased his work once again. "How about we take a quick break?" He set his binder down and pulled me on top of him.

"Look at us," I laughed. "Doing homework on a Saturday night."

"Best Saturday night." He placed his lips on mine and slowly slid his tongue in my mouth.

"Ethan," I said between a kiss. "My parents could walk in." I giggled as I tried to pull away but he wouldn't hesitate.

"Fine." He smacked my butt and got up off the floor. "Come to a party with me later?" I looked over at my clock and saw that it was only 7 so I agreed. "I'll come around 9ish?"

"Sounds good." I stood on my tippy toes and pecked his cheek. "I'll see you later."

"Later babe." He kissed my forehead and left me to get ready.

Austin's POV

We had landed in Miami around noon and it was 7pm now and I had absolutely nothing to do.
Every ounce in my body wanted to contact Kat but her recent Instagram posts have been with this guy named Ethan and she looks pretty damn happy.
Just as I was about to go watch Netflix for the rest of the night I got a text from Cam.

From: Cam
Heard you were back in town! Come through tonight, it's going to be a banger!
5890 Wood West Ave.

I shrugged and decided to get ready. It's been awhile since I last partied so why not?
