Chapter 38

I was rudely awoken by my horrible alarm clock the next morning. I glanced over at my phone and it was 7am, ugh it should be illegal to be up this early.

Last night after I had got out of the shower Austin and I had cuddled on my bed watching movies all night long. He surprisingly decided to sleep over which I didn't mind.

"What time is it?" He pulled me close to him.

"7 in the morning. I have to get ready for school." I cuddled up with him. Doing the opposite of what I actually had to do.

"Stay home?" He whispered.

"Can't. I already missed yesterday." I yawned.

"Don't go." He whined.

I pulled Austin off of me and got out of bed. "I don't want to go either but I have to."

I walked towards my bathroom and did my usual morning routine. After I finished washing my face I walked back into my room to find Austin still asleep on my bed.

"Are you just going to lay there?" I sat down in front of my mirror to start my makeup.

"Mmmm hmmm." He mumbled still asleep.

I obviously had to play music but for Austin's sake I lowered the volume. I pulled my hair back into a messy bun to start on my makeup. I did the usual; prime my face, apply foundation, concealer to conceal my pimples and bags under my eyes, powder to set my whole face, winged eyeliner, filled in my brows, mascara, bronzer, blush, and lastly lipstick.

"You know you don't need all of that stuff on your face." Austin startled me as I sprayed setting spray on my face.

"Look who's awake." I turned to face him. "Thanks but I like it and I know you do too."

"It's alright." He joked.

"I need to go change, I'll be back." I headed into my closet and looked for an outfit. I decided on a plain grey t-shirt and high waisted jean shorts. I tucked my shirt into my shorts and folded my shirt sleeves. My outfit looked too simple so I decided to add a thick gold chain (fake of course) and I left my hair in a messy bun because I was too lazy to style it. Obviously I had to pack my sports bag because I had practice later that day, I packed spandex and t-shirts. I had my other stuff in my P.E. locker.

"Are you going to drive me or are you going to head home?" I asked all ready to leave for school.

"I'll drive you." He sat up. "Just give me a minute."

"Alright. It's 7:50 so you have 10 minutes babe." I threw him a pillow.

"Fine." He got up and headed to the bathroom.

Of course being the basic girl that I am, I had to take some selfies. I went over to my long mirror to take a picture of my outfit so I could upload it on Instagram.

"You ready to go darling?" Austin came out of the bathroom fully dressed.

"Yes sir." I walked over to peck his lips.

"Hey I wasn't done." He said after I pulled away and he pressed his lips against mine once more.

There it was again, that spark. I dropped my bags and pulled his body against mine needing more that just a kiss. In one swift motion Austin picked me up, my legs wrapped around his waist. He roughly pinned my back to the wall and started kissing down my neck.

"Austin.." I said out of breath.

"Yeah?" He mumbled against my skin.

"School. Go." I couldn't even let out a sentence, that's how much effect that boy had on me.

"Fine." He let me down. "But we're so going to finish this later."

"Whatever you say." I pecked his cheek and headed downstairs with my bags.

"Do you want to grab breakfast really quick?" Austin said as he backed out of the driveway.

"No thanks, I'm not really hungry." I pulled out my phone.

"Alright, just make sure you eat a good lunch cause I don't want you to pass out during practice." He quickly glanced at me as he stopped at a red light.

"I promise." I went over to peck his cheek.

"How did I get so lucky?" Austin looked at me in the eyes.

"I was just about to say the same thing." I smiled up at him before the light turned green.

A few minutes later Austin was parked outside of the school.

"I wish you could just stay home all day with me." Austin pouted as I took my seatbelt off.

"So do I." I groaned. "But you have to go to the studio. I'll see you later?"

"Of course. Text me when practice is over so I could pick you up." He leaned over to kiss me.

"And that I will." I kissed him back. I tried to make the kiss as short as possible because it was a bit odd making out with someone while your peers passed by.

"Have a good day at school baby girl." Austin said as I hopped out of his car.

"Thanks. Have a good day at work babe." I winked at him before I closed the door and headed up the steps to the school.

It was now lunch time and the crew and I were sitting outside of the school eating lunch. The whole day was pretty much boring as heck and I was just glad to hang out with my friends for awhile.

"So anything new since I last saw you guys last night?" I joked.

"Surprisingly no." Ashley laughed.

"I just can't wait for practice." I sighed. "Ugh I can't believe I just said that."

"Neither can I." Ashley looked at me with disgust.

"Whatever. Surprisingly I actually like to work out." I laughed.

"See that's why I can't wait until you join our gym!" Alysa chirped.

"And I can't wait either! I miss competitive cheer so much." I smiled at her.

"Ugh you girls and cheer." Zach groaned.

"Oh shut it. I'm pretty sure you're going to be drooling when you see Ash in her cheer uniform!"

"You got that right." Zach winked at Ashley.

*bell rings*

"Why must the bell ring?" Rob whined.

"Oh come one," we all got up from the table. "You have me next period so you don't have it all bad."

"Yeah...." Rob chuckled.

"You know you enjoy my company!" I hollered as we walked to history together.

Thankfully it was now 7th period aka my free period. I didn't have any homework because I had finished it during class and now I didn't have anything to do.

"Why so glum chum?" A voice whispered in my ear.

I turned around to face none other than Ethan.

"Cause I have no friends." I laughed. "You know I kinda missed your face, I haven't seen you all day."

"The feeling is very much mutual." He sat down next to me.

"So is this your free period too?" I asked.

"Yeah pretty much." Ethan made himself comfortable on the couch. "So when are we hanging out?"

Wow this boy wastes no time. "Well first you have to ask me out."

"We have a home game this Friday night and after we always go to Applebee's to celebrate. You want to come with?" He questioned.

"I'd love to actually." I smiled.
