Chapter 18

Art class was such a blur, I sat in the back so I wasn't really paying attention to Mr. Perry.

I was walking to the gym when Marissa spotted me and walked over to me.

"Hey girl." She embraced me in a hug.

"Hey Rizzy." I hugged her back.

"So I heard about you making the varsity team." She squealed. "Congrats." She hugged my side as we continued walking towards the gym.

"Thank you." I smiled. "So I was thinking, what are you doing this weekend?" I smirked.

"Nothing, I'm all yours! What are we doing?" Marissa asked.

"I want to gather everyone up during lunch, you'll see." I smiled at her.

"You're going to make me wait? Really Kat? Really?" She pouted.

"I am Rizzy, I am." I teased. "Let's go, we don't want to be late to P.E., now do we?" I laughed.

"Yes we do." She groaned.

I laughed as I opened the doors to the gym. I spotted AC and Rob.

"Rizzy let's go, we have to go tell AC and Rob about lunch." I pulled her toward them.

"Wait!" She stopped in her tracks.

"What?" I asked.

"Do I look good?" She asked looking up and down at herself.

"Riz you're flawless, why does it-" And that's when it clicked. "You have a thing for AC!" I whispered.

"Shh! He might hear you." She looked in his direction.

"Omg Riz! This weekend is going to be good." I winked. "Now let's go." We walked towards AC and Rob.

"Hey Kath." AC said once he spotted us. He leaned down to hug me.

"Hey AC." I hugged him back.

"Hey Kath." Rob smiled at me.

"Hey Rob." I went in to hug him.

"Hey Marissa." Both AC and Rob said to Marissa. She smiled back at them.

"Um so I want us all to gather during lunch because I had an idea for this weekend." I told them.

"Yeah I guess. During lunch?" AC asked.

"Yeah just meet up by one of the tables by the cafeteria." I told them. "Well we should go change. See you guys later."

During P.E. we just played dodgeball, the usual. Ms. Tracy blew her whistle signaling that it was time to head into the locker rooms.

"You ready?" Marissa asked me once she was all dressed.

"Yeah hold on." I finished tying my shoe lace. I walked over to the mirror and fixed my clothes and hair. "Riz come here."

"What?" she stood next to me.

"Pose love." I opened my camera app and took a mirror picture. "Ooh, babe we look cute." I stared at the picture and realized something. "Riz you're taller than me." I pouted.

"Kat I'm only 5'4." she laughed. "I'm not that tall."

"I'm 5 foot." I stomped my foot on the floor.

"You'll grow babe don't worry. Let's go, I'm hungry." she pulled me.

The bell hadn't rang yet so Marissa and I decided to made a quick stop to Subway before we met with the rest.

When we got back to the school, everyone was gathered by a table in the corner.

"Sorry that we're late." I sat down next to Rob and Marissa sat next to me.
