A/N: I know what you are all probably thinking, "why aren't you writing stuff about Kat and Austin? why are you only focusing on Ethan and Kat?" well just know that it plays a huge part in the book so please be patient lol.

I woke up the next morning very tired. Since my parents weren't home from their jobs yet, I could basically come home at any time that I wanted. And since yesterday I was out with Ethan and the football players, I had got home around 2 in the morning. After the game we went to Applebee's and after that we went to the beach to have a bonfire and thats when we all lost track of time.

It was now 10am and I honestly had no idea what I was doing up but I couldn't fall back asleep. So I got up and got ready for the day.

After I had taken a shower, changed into spandex and a t-shirt because I had no plans as of that time and did my makeup. It was 11:30 so I just decided to eat cereal and watch tv. And that's what I did for the past hour until someone interrupted and knocked at my door.

"It's open!" I yelled not wanting to get up off the couch.

"Wow Kat that could have been a burglar." Rob chuckled as he walked through the front door.

"That is so not safe babe." Rizzy nodded her head at me in disapproval as the rest of the crew walked in.

"Well luckily it wasn't." I chuckled as I went over to hug them. "So what are you guys up to?"

"Well it feels like forever since we last hung out as why not today?" Zach made himself comfortable on the couch.

"Sorry." I sighed. "With volleyball, things have just been so time consuming. Plus you guys always go on your quadruple dates!"

"See and that's where we messed up." Ashley came over to me. "We've been neglecting Kat all this time."

"My poor baby, I'm sorry." Rizzy came up to hug me.

I chuckled to myself. "You guys have nothing to apologize for. You guys have every right to go out."

"I guess this is my cue to walk in." Austin walked in.

"Austin!" I squealed as I ran into his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist.

"God I've missed you!" Austin whispered.

"I've missed you so much." I didn't hesitate to press my lips against his. The same sparks were there. The sparks that made my heart beat a mile a minute and left me absolutely speechless. Austin tightened his grip around my waist as I ran my fingers through his hair.

"Woah now children, there are other people present in this room." Zach groaned.

Austin and I pulled away from the kiss and laughed.

"Kat I'm sorry..." Austin started.

I shook my head at him. "You don't need to apologize, music is your top priority right now."

"How did I get so lucky?" Austin pecked my lips before we went over to join everybody in the living room.

"So what's the game plan for today?" Rob said.

"Whatever your little heart desires Rob." I laughed.

"Hmmm." He started thinking. "I say we go go-cart racing, laser tag, bowling, and then we come back and swim in the pool and just chill?"

"Wow Villa, your plan isn't bad at all." Cam patted his back.

"Well then make yourselves at home and feel free to raid the refrigerator while I go change." I stood up and walked to my room with Austin following behind.

As soon as we entered my room, Austin pinned me to my bed.

"I have no idea how I survived without you for that long." Austin started leaving kisses on my neck.

"I ask myself that same thing." I moaned at his touch. He moved to my lips and kissed me passionately. The kiss wasn't sloppy or heated, it felt just right as our lips moved in sync.

"I've missed that too much." He sighed resting his forehead on top of mine.

"You're acting strange, what's wrong?" I sat up on the bed and turned my attention to him.

He let out a long sigh. "Try to reason with me and hear me out." I nodded indicating for him to go on. "So as you know I'm working on my album and I had a meeting on Friday about my album release. And my management thinks that I should go to L.A. to meet up with some producers."

"How long are you going to be gone?" I was hoping he would just say a few weeks.

"I don't know, they said it depends how I do there. But they estimated about a couple months." My heart dropped. "I leave next Friday."

I wasn't expecting him to go so soon. Hell I wasn't expecting him to leave me already. In the short amount of time that I've known him, and I hate to say it but I've grown so attached to him.

"Please say something." He said after a couple minutes of silence.

"Um I have to go get ready. I'll be out in a bit." I walked into my closet and shut the door behind me.

We were all piled inside Austin's Range Rover, well half of us, the other half were with Zach in the car behind us and we were headed to K1 Speed. The drive was somewhat short and during that time I didn't bother to talk to Austin. I think Rob, Rizzy, and AC noticed the tension between us because neither of them said a word.

"Please don't ignore me." Austin said once it was only just us two in the car.

"Can we just talk about it once the day is over? I just want to have fun today." I weakly smiled at him.

"I'm sorry." He sighed and we met up with everyone inside.

We had to sit through a presentation about the proper way to race and whatnot, it was pretty boring.

"No bumping or blocking other go karts and please pay attention to our flags." Our instructor finished. "Any other questions?"

"Yeah, can you shut up already?" Rob quietly mumbled.

I smacked his chest as we were finally lead where the karts were at.

"So the first round could be the guys versus each other, the second round would be the girls versus each other and then the final round would be everyone." Zach already had everything mapped out.

"Sounds great! Alright I'm ready to fuck shit up!" Rob smirked.

It was now 10pm and the crew besides Austin had just left. The whole day was full of laughs and it couldn't have been any better. I was still a little iffy about the whole Austin situation but he kept on showing me affection and I couldn't help but give in.

"So do you want to talk about it?" Austin asked. He sat on one side of the couch and I sat on the other.

I sighed. "Yeah I guess so."

"I'm sorry." He started before I cut him off.

"No I'm sorry, I'm sorry I was mad. I had no right to be. I was selfish." I ran my hands through my hair.

"You had every right to be mad." Austin scooted closer to me. "I'm sorry I haven't been around much."

"Austin," I grabbed his face and pulled him closer. "Don't be sorry, this is your job."

"This isn't fair to you." He rested his forehead on top of mine.

"It's okay Austin. It's okay. I understand." I placed a long and sweet kiss on his lips.
