Chapter 11

During lunch Ashley, Marissa, and I arranged to go hangout after school.

Right now I'm at my locker putting away my books because I finished all of my homework in my free period.

"Hey." I heard someone say behind my open locker door.

I closed the locker door. "Hey Rob." I smiled.

"What are you up to?" He leaned against the other lockers.

"Nothing just going to hang out with the girls." I tucked a piece of hair behind my ear. "What about you?"

"Well since you're going to ditch me, I might as well hang out with my boys." he smiled.

I laughed. "Rob you ditched your friends for me yesterday, you should go today." My phone started ringing in my pocket, it was Marissa. "Hey where are you?"

"We're waiting for you in my car Kath." She laughed.

"Alright, I'm on my way." I laughed. I hung up. "Uh Rob I gotta go."

"Can I walk you?" He asked.

"Yeah." I smiled. We made small talk until we reached Marissa's car. "Thanks for walking me Rob." I faced him.

"No problem. I'll see you tomorrow." He leaned in to hug me.

"Bye Rob." I hugged him back. As I was about to reach for the door handle, I heard Rob yell my name.

"I forgot one thing." He told me.

"What is it?" I asked.

"This." He leaned in to kiss me, taking me by surprise.

I kissed him back as I put my hand on his cheek.

He pulled away. "Okay now I can leave." He smiled.

I blushed. "Bye Rob."

"Holy shit Kath! You and Rob?!" Ashley said as soon as I got into the car.

"You have to tell us everything!" Marissa squealed.

"Well there's really nothing to tell. He came over yesterday after school and we hung out and- "

"Oh my God Kath, you took him to your house?" Marissa interrupted.

"I showed him my house-"

"Were your parents home?!" Ashley interrupted me this time.

"Can you all let me talk?" I asked annoyed.

"Well hurry up and tell us!" Marissa said.

I rolled my eyes. "Yes I took him to my house and no my parents wernt home." I answered both their questions. "We fell asleep on the couch and my parents woke us up and then he left." I lied.

"Lier." Ashley shot at me.

"Am not!" I argued. I am a terrible lier.

"Then when did this kissy kissy stuff happen?" Marissa questioned.

"Okay fine." I gave up. "I walked him out the door, we said goodbye and next thing I knew we were kissing."

"Awh." they awed at the same time.

"And this morning he drove me to school." I smiled.

"And let me guess, there was kissing involved?" Marissa winked at me.

"You already know girl." I winked back. "Where we going?" I changed the subject.

"To the beach!" they both said at the same time.

"Yay! There isn't beaches where I live."

"Well theres a first for everything, so let's go." Marissa put her seatbelt on.

"Wait but I don't have a bikini." I frowned.

"I've got extras don't worry." Ashley called out.

"Alright then let's go to the beach!" I yelled.
