Loving You Is Easy

Chapter 3

After saying goodbye to Cam I started walking towards the gym and I felt my phone vibrate, like I kid you not a hundred times. The notifications I got were mainly from Instagram and Twitter. I couldn't check them right now because I had arrived in the gym already. So I walked in to what I assumed was the girls locker room and I looked for my P.E. teacher, Ms. Tracy or at least an office of some sort.

"Hey um do you where is Ms. Tracy is?" I asked a girl who seemed quite friendly, she was about 5'4, long shiny brown hair, and tan skin.

"Um yeah, her office is just around the corner. I'm Marissa and you are?"

"Katherine." I replied. "I'm new here."

"Ah I see, well I don't want you to get tardy so I'll talk to you later." She smiled.

"Alright thanks by the way."

As I turned the corner, sure enough there was a office right there. When I reached the office, the door was unlocked so I decided to walk in.

"Hello, I'm-"

"Katherine Hope Garcia" Ms. Tracy interrupted me.

"How'd you know my name?" I asked her kind of creeped out that she knew my full name.

"I've heard a lot of things about you. All good things of course. Varsity volleyball player. Varsity track runner. Varsity cheerleader. You're quite the athlete."

Oh did I forget to mention that I was pretty popular when it came to sports, but besides that, I was a nobody most of the time.

"You planning to play sports here?" She asked me as she got up.

"Maybe, I really don't know yet." I answered. And that was the truth, I didn't know if I wanted to enter sports here, I really haven't made any friends here, my only friend right now is Cam and I don't know if I'd feel comfortable around these other people.

"Well you better make up your mind cause I really want you on my track team."

"Um yeah I'll think about it. Um yeah so can I have a lock for my locker?"

"I've seen videos of you running and you're real good." She told me while she handed me my lock.

"Oh thanks." I replied quite uncomfortable from the situation I was in. "Um yeah I'm gonna go change now." I told her.

I found an empty locker so I decided to change quickly and leave because I didn't want to be tardy. When I left the locker room, I saw everyone else sitting on the floor so I found an empty spot and sat there.

"Alright you guys knew your teams so get in them. As for the new girl Katherine, she will be joining Constancio's team." Ms. Tracy said.

I had no fucking idea who this Constancio kid was so I just stood there like an idiot until this boy walked up to me.

"Hey I'm Alex Constancio, you'll be joining my group." He said.

Ah Constancio.

"But you can call me AC."

I had to admit, AC wasn't bad looking, in fact he was real cute. He had brown eyes and brown hair, he was about 5'7 and he had an amazing smile.

"Oh I'm Katherine but you can call me Kath." I smiled at him. "What are we playing?" I asked AC.

"Volleyball." I smiled, oh yes this is my sport.

After I met all the other people on my team, AC told us that we were playing some kid named Roberts team. So we all got in our positions (me playing opposite of course), Roberts team was serving first and serving was that one chick Marissa whom I met earlier. She looked at me and smiled, not a friendly nice smile, but a creepy weird smile. Now let me just say that her serve was like on point, I guess she was aiming at me because the ball was flying my my direction.
