School was a bore. Well I think it was. I don't remember some parts because most of the time I was zoning out thinking about Ethan.
How can he look at me and pretend everything was okay when it clearly wasn't.
Soon enough. The school day was over and I was already in my car waiting for Ethan.

"Hey I thought you were at your locker?" He said as he climbed into my car.

"Sorry. Um I didn't need to pass by so I just decided to come straight here." I turned the engine on.

"So how were your classes?" He asked as he went onto his phone.

"A drag. Like always." I managed to let out a small laugh. "Yours?"

"Hm?" He was still on his phone. "It was alright. You know? The usual." He mumbled.

"Can you put your phone away? I'm talking to you and it's kind of rude." At this point I was so annoyed by him.

"Geez what bug poked you today? You've been so moody all day. I'm sorry." He locked his phone and put it in his pocket.

"You know what? Something has been bugging me all day." I pulled into his driveway and parked the car. "I was talking to your mom this morning and she told me that you guys didn't go visit family last weekend. And she thought you were with me all weekend long! So tell me Ethan, where the hell were you actually at?"

"Oh my gosh." He rubbed his eyes.

"You've been caught Ethan. Face it." I blinked away tears. This asshole was not going to see me cry. "Now unless you have a good fucking explanation, then get the hell out of my car!"

"Katherine, baby. It's not what it looks like I swear!" He unbuckled his seat belt and reached out to me.

"Ethan it sure looks like that to me. You cheated on me huh?" I looked at him. "Admit it."

"I didn't mean to, it just happened. I swear it was a mistake." He begged.

"No. We were a mistake." I couldn't even look at him anymore. "Get out of my car. I don't want to see you ever again."

"I'm so sorry Kat." He opened the passenger door to leave. "You have to believe that."

As soon he shut the door, I sped off. I couldn't believe that he actually cheated on me. I thought we were so good together.
I just drove off and I didn't even notice the tears escaping my eyes. But before I knew it, I was in front of Austin's house dialing his number.

"Hey Kat." He spoke over the phone.

"Hey are you home?" I asked even though his car was parked right in front of me.

"Yeah I am. What's up?"

"Can you come outside?" I asked trying to keep my shit together.

"Have you been crying? Are you outside?" Well I guess I didn't try hard enough.

"Yeah I'm outside." I hung up and walked up to his front door.

"Hey are you okay?" He asked as soon as the door flew open.

"Not really." I quietly whispered before I broke down sobbing.

Austin pulled me into him. "Awe baby. No. Why are you crying?"

"I'm so stupid." I sobbed into his chest.
