"Ugh I'm beat." I groaned as we walked back into the locker room.

"Same. Is it just me or was today's practice way more painful than before?" Sandra gulped down her water bottle.

"Right! That's exactly how I felt." I moaned as I laid down on the bench.

"Come on Kat, let's head home." She chuckled as she grabbed her belongings.

"I don't even feel like driving, my arms feel like jelly." I weakly picked up my bags and followed Sandra out to the parking lot.

"Awh you'll survive." She said as we walked towards our cars, which were surprisingly parked next to each other.

"Hope so." I chuckled. "Well I'll see you tomorrow babe."

"Game day tomorrow remember!" She shouted as she walked to he car.

"How can I forget! We're going for 2-0 tomorrow night." I smirked.

"Hell yeah! Text me when you get home." Sandra waved before she drove off.

I turned on my engine, rolled down my window, and immediately connected my music before heading home.

A couple minutes later and I parked my car onto the driveway. Of course my parents cars were nowhere to be found which bummed me out because I haven't had an actual conversation with either of them.
I sighed and entered my house because for some reason I was beyond exhausted. As soon as I entered my room i texted Sandra and told her I was home. After that I made my way into my bathroom and took a fresh shower.

Thirty minutes later and I was dressed in a sports bra and matching shorts. I went downstairs to go look for food because I was quite hungry. Just as I was about to open the refrigerator, the door bell rang. I thought it was one of my parents and they just forgot their keys but when I opened the door I saw Austin.

"Woah hello." Austin looked taken back.

"Shut up." I playfully swatted his arm. "Come in."

"What are you up to?" He followed me into the kitchen.

"Well I was looking for food but then I heard someone ring the doorbell." I playfully rolled my eyes.

"Fine then, I'll just leave." Austin turned to walk away. I ran towards him and grabbed him arm. "Hm that's what I thought."

"I missed you." I wrapped my arms around his neck while his went down to my waist.

"I missed you too." He leaned down to kiss my lips. There were the same sparks again. Austin ran his tongue across my bottom lip asking for entrance.

I pulled away. "Let's go to my room?"

Austin quickly nodded and we both ran up the stairs to my room. Eager for what was to happen next.
As soon as we entered my room, Austin wasted no time and carried me over to my bed.

The next morning I woke up cuddled up next to Austin. And for those wondering, no we didn't have sex last night. After we went up to my room yeah we started making out but after that we just sat on my balcony and talked about everything and nothing. It was kind of perfect.

"Morning." I whispered.

"Good morning beautiful." Austin mumbled as he pulled me closer to him.

"How'd you sleep?" I played with his hair.

"Perfect because I was with you." He looked me in the eyes.

"I'm going to miss this." I quietly said.

"Hey," He lifted my chin so I was looking at him. "We still have a few days together, let's not be all sad."

"Deal." I said as Austin placed a long kiss on my forehead.

Letting him go is probably going to be harder than I imagined.
