The next morning I woke up in a totally good mood because a) I was happy how things are going for me and Austin and b) it was Friday!

I checked my phone which was charging on my night stand for the time and it was 7 am so I decided to take a shower because last night I didn't get the chance to.

After I got out of the shower it was only 7:25 so I took out my blow dryer and started drying my hair until it was decent looking. I chose to stick with my natural hair because I was to lazy to straighten it or curl it. As I was looking through my closet for something to wear, my phone started ringing and without looking at the caller ID, I answered it.

"Hello." I said still digging through my closet.

"Good morning." a voice chirped from the other line. Austin.

"Good morning Carter." I smiled even though he couldn't see me.

"What's up?" he asked.

"Nothing, just getting ready for school. You?" I found a plain grey crop top and flung it on my bed.

"Making breakfast." I heard movement from the other line.

I looked over at clock and it read 7:35 am. "Why are you even up?" I questioned. "It's only 7:35 and you don't even go to school."

He laughed. "My mom thinks I should become a morning person."

"Ugh." I groaned. "I hate mornings." I tried looking through my closet for my high waisted shorts that had tears on each leg.

"Me too." he paused. "So I was thinking, do you have any plans today?"

I stopped looking for my shorts and sat on my bed. "I doubt it, why?"

"Do you maybe want to hang out today?" he timidly asked.

"What'd you have in mind?" I raised my eyebrow in curiosity.

"We could hang out at my house if you want." he responded.

"Yeah, I'd like that." I smiled. "At what time?"

"I could pick you up after school?" he asked.

"Yeah sounds like a plan." I said. "I'll see you later, I need to get ready."

"Oh yeah, alright. See you later." he hung up.

After my phonecall with Austin, I finally found my shorts and I through my outfit on. I walked into my bathroom to put on my make-up, I applied my usual makeup; foundation, liquid eyeliner, mascara, blush, slight eyeshadow, and red lipstick. I walked over to my dresser and took out the ring that was once my real mothers and put it on. I know, why do i have it if she left me? But its the only thing i actually have of my real parents. I glanced over at my clock and it was 7:50 so I finished the touch ups on my makeup and walked over to my closet to put on my white converse. I looked at my long mirror that was on my closet door to make sure I looked fine. I fixed my shorts so they wouldn't look too high or too short on me and after that I decided to take a mirror picture and I uploaded it onto Twitter with the caption "it's finally fridaaaaaaay ". I got my backpack, phone and headphones and headed downstairs to again find everyone gone. I sighed and headed into the kitchen to find something to eat. Deciding that I wasn't that hungry, I took a Special K bar and headed out the front door towards the high school. I needed to go back to Nevada to go pick up my car because I am sick of walking to school.

Finally after 15 minutes of walking, I reached the school. I didn't see any of the girls or the boys when I walked in so I headed to my locker.

"You're Katherine right?" a blonde girl approached me.
