Chapter V - He Must Really Like You

A/N - I've decided to begin dedicating chapters to the authors of some of my favorite stories on Wattpad.  So this first dedication is for WriteLikeThissss and the story 'Everyone Else In The Room Can See It'.   Easily one of my favorite Narry stories.  :)

The next couple of days came and went fairly quickly.  Harry and I were texting a few times a day.  Nothing too in depth.  After all we needed things to discuss at dinner.  Our texts were mostly consisting of questions about how each other’s day was going or what we had planned for the remainder of the day with the occasional flirty text slipped in. 

It was now Friday and I was just finishing up a few remaining projects when I had a knock on my door.  I assumed it was my secretary saying that she was going home.  It was my secretary but she was carrying in an obscenely large bouquet of flowers of a sorted variety with a small teddy bear holding a heart attached.

“Wow, Jennifer.  You must be loved.  Who are those flowers from?” I asked her

“Actually Mr. Horan they were just delivered for you.”

My eyes became large and my mouth dropped open.

“By the look on your face I am guessing that you had no clue you were about to get these.  But they are amazing.  Someone must really like you.”  She said as she placed them on my desk.

“They smell wonderful.  Have a good weekend Mr. Horan.”

Still shocked by the arrangement of flowers that sat on my desk; I said goodbye just as Jennifer was closing my office door.

I looked for a card or something to let me know who they were from.  Finally after some digging, I located a small card tucked in behind a couple of Tiger Lilies.

Niall,

I was just thinking about you and your beautiful blue eyes.

 I can’t wait until I get to look into them again.

p.s. The teddy is for Ava Belle.  I certainly didn’t forget her.

Wow.  He sent me flowers.  From the looks of it, expensive flowers.  And also had a bear for Ava Belle.  I was taken aback by the gesture but I loved it.  Could he be anymore sweet? 

How did he know where to send them, I thought.  Maybe he got the information from Louis.  Then I remembered that I told him where I worked.  He must have looked up the information.  I am still shocked.  I have never been given this type of gift before.  But it is very sweet.

I begin to clean up my desk, putting things neatly away so they will be easily accessible for Monday when I return.  I collect my briefcase and my massive bouquet and make my way out of the building.

The flowers take up most of the back seat and I make my way to pick up Ava Belle.  I can almost imagine her reaction when she sees the flowers.

Ava Belle hops in the front seat, gives me a kiss on the cheek and says in the sweetest voice “Hi Daddy!  I missed you!”

“I missed you too, Ladybug.  How was your day?”

She was about to answer but her attention was stuck on the flowers in the back seat.

“Who are those from Daddy? Are they for me?”  She says very excited.

“Harry sent those to my office for me today.  But he made sure to tell me that the teddy bear goes to you!” I replied, smiling at her awe stricken face.
