Chapter XVI - Some Phone Fun

(A/N-  This will be the first of two chapters that I will upload today.  Hope you all enjoy!!!)

I woke up Saturday morning to a missed text from Harry.  I saw that it was sent shortly after I had fallen asleep.

To: Niall

I LOVE them!!  But it makes me miss you more.  : (  I really want to be home now.

 

I didn’t reply knowing that he is probably asleep or out at an event right now.  I’ll wait until later this evening.  I got ready for the day and Ava did the same.  The same events every Saturday.  Park, lunch, Ballet, Drama, dinner, sleep.

When I dropped Ava off at Ballet there was a notice for all the parents that there would be a recital next Saturday night.  All dancers must be at the art center to get ready by 6.  The recital is from 7 to 9 and will showcase what the students have learned thus far.  There will also be refreshments served afterward.  Due to the recital, all other evening classes at the art center were cancelled.  I gathered the information and gave Ava a kiss goodbye and made my way to complete my errands for the week.

Ava and I stayed a little bit after her drama class so that I could talk to Louis.

“Daddy” Ava said

“Yes Ladybug”

“We were given invitations to pass out to people we want to come to the recital.  I already gave My Louis one and he said he would be there.  Isn’t that right My Louis!”

“That’s right, Ava.  Michael and I wouldn’t miss it!”

“Well who else are you going to give one to?” I asked.

“Well of course Uncle LiLi and My Zaynie and then maybe you can send one to My Hazza.  I know he would want to come.  He’ll be back from working by then, right.  I really want him there.  I would be the happiest girl in the whole world!”

“I don’t know, Ladybug.” I said and looked at Louis when we saw her smile fade.

“I’ll see what I can do, Ava.” Louis said “but he might still be away.”

“Ok” she said and then took a seat and read from a book in her backpack while Louis and I continued our conversation.

“I feel really bad.” I told Louis.  “I miss him a lot but I think Ava will take it kind of hard if he can’t make it. But I don’t want to make him feel bad.  I know he needs to stay there as long as it takes to finish up what he is doing.  It’s more difficult than I had guessed having a boyfriend that is away a majority of the time.”  I said knowing that Louis knows that Harry and I have made our relationship official.  Each of the boys knew.  “I almost don’t want to tell him.”
