So when I was 9 my Grumpy and Grammee invited my family on a cruise with them that led to me missing literally a week of school. *jazz hands*
Well on this cruise they had this set up for all the kids on the cruise to hang out on so parents could chill. Ofc my little sister was too scared of the kids and teachers and two foot rock climbing wall and because she grew up a brat, my parents couldn't do any of the fun adult stuff on board that the cruise offered because they had to watch my little sister.
But she made up for it because every single night we went to this one restaurant on the ship and the waiters sang happy birthday to her every night as an inside joke with my family (to the point where they had the birthday sundae ready when we'd walk in) and sometimes I got to eat a little bit of the birthday cake or sundae they'd give her.
I'm off topic, sorry.
Anyways, at the end of the cruise on the Wednesday (the cruise started Sunday I think and we got home on the Thursday but didn't go to school until the Friday because we didn't get home until late-Thursday)
I'm trying to explain this and it's taking so much effort. Ugh.
Anyways, on the Wednesday they had a talent show.
Ofc Scarlet decided to do a dance by herself and she could do it but I was still doing baby class-like dances because my teachers having no faith in me so I couldn't perform a dance.
And then I met this girl named Isabelle on the ship and we bonded over our mutual love of Phineas and Ferb.
We both LIVED the song 'Little Brothers' even though neither of us even had brothers (she was an only child, idk now, and I only have sisters) and we that week we kept singing Little Brother all the time as a joke and stuff.
Then on the day of the talent show we decided to sign up and we sang Little Brothers together.
We totally slayed the song.
So she lived in Connecticut I think but tbh I kind of only remember bits and pieces of that trip. Like how my sister got attacked by a monkey at a zoo in Bermuda... But we exchanged phone numbers and addresses and all that jazz and we played Foosball while doing so since they had a Foosball table in the children chamber and then after the cruise I totally didn't call her back and she never called me either so it's a two way street buddy, not just me.
Anyways, singing Little Brothers at a talent show with a girl I had met only two or three days before is number six in my top ten memories because the fact I remember it shows that for some reason it was important to me.
Also, I still love the song Little Brothers. xD
