Rainbow Dash looked out of the window at waiting crowds. The screams of excitement from the fans were deafening, even inside the limo. Rainbow turned her head.
She looked at the girl in front of her. Sitting across from her in all her glory and beauty and awesomeness, was Applejack Smith. The most famous teenage country singer/actress in Equestria.
Applejack had been performing since she was small. About two years ago she signed a record label. In no time at all she was a hit. She traveled the world, making movies every now and again. People knew her all over Equestria, adoring the blonde teen.
Rainbow could see why. She was beautiful. Long golden hair, perfect tan skin, skinny yet toned, grassy green eyes that twinkled when she smiled. Applejack was perfection.
"You ready??", she asked.
Applejack looked at her. She smiled, white pearly teeth showing.
"Yup".
"Now remember", Rainbow said. "You can wave and say hi and all that, but don't let any of them touch you. Got it??".
Applejack nodded, grinning.
"Ah've been doin this fir years RD. Ah think ah know how ta walk through a crowd by now".
"Just keeping you safe is all", Rainbow said turning back to look out the window. "It's my job after all".
Rainbow was one of Applejack's bodyguards. Top bodyguard if I do.say so myself. Not to brag of course. Rainbow Dash went everywhere with Applejack. She did her job and protected Applejack. She even taught the young singer some self defense tricks. It would come in handy.
Rainbow nodded.
"Alright", she said to the other security guards and Applejack.
"Come on".
They group opened the door. The crowd became even louder as Applejack stepped out of the vehicle. She smiled and waved at the crowd.
As she walked, she glanced over Rainbow who was walking beside her, a stone cold serious look on her face. Applejack smiled and nudged her.
"C'mon", she said, raising her voice so Rainbow could hear. "Loosen up a little".
Rainbow gave a smile. The two talked as they walked. Rainbow's eyes scanned the crowd at they went through. Finally they got inside.
As soon as they got backstage, Applejack was whisked away backstage to get ready. Rainbow stayed behind with her team members.
Rainbow called a good luck which Applejack was able to flash a smile at her before dissappearing.

The crowd was enormous. Rainbow looked around in amazement. All these people were coming to see Applejack. The teen was suddenly filled with pride. Applejack had done an amazing job. She was a celebrity, adored by thousands and thousands of people, Rainbow being one of them.
Rainbow was stationed at the foot of the stage. Some men who were also security were on either side of her. Rainbow glanced around at the crowd. She kept her gaze on the people as the concert started.
The crowd suddenly went wild. Rainbow guessed Applejack had come out. She wished she could turn around to see what Applejack looked like at that moment but couldn't. She only stared ahead. She could only stand there and do her job. She was sure Applejack looked amazing as always.

Rainbow was scanning the crowd. She suddenly saw a man that stood out in the crowd. She saw the gun. She gasped.
