Today was the big day. The wedding day.
Applejack was nervous as she was getting herself ready throughout the day. Rarity was with Rainbow Dash, helping her get ready. She claimed that Rainbow needed her help more today.
Applejack had been with Pinkie and Twilight along with one of Rarity's trusted friends to help her get ready and stuff. It had been a very long day for them both. Full of salons and makeup and rushing around, Applejack was exhausted by the time it was nearly time for the wedding ceremony.
Applejack looked at her reflection. She stared at the dress she was wearing. It was short sleeved and had lace. Applejack slowly smoothed down her dress.
"Ah'm scared now", she said.
"Don't be", Twilight said, as she helped put the hair piece in her golden locks.
Applejack sighed. "Ah can't help it, Twi".
Twilight smiled at her. She placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Trust me. It's normal. Remember how I was when me and Flash got married??".
Applejack nodded. "Course. You were havin' a panic attack right before the ceremony".
Twilight blushed at the memory.
"Yeah. I guess I did".
Twilight shook her head quickly.
"But still. I was nervous. It's normal to feel this way. Your heart is racing, you feel nauseous and then you're thinking of backing out and calling off the wedding".
Applejack crossed her arms.
"Have you been readin' mah mind with yir magic??".
Twilight giggled. "No. I just have experience".
Applejack looled back at her reflection.
"Ah wonder what Rainbow's gonna look like when ah see her??".
"I haven't seen her yet", Twilight said.
"But I bet she's just as nervous as you. You know how she can get".
Applejack frowned.
"She's been acting weird ever since ah proposed to her".
"Really??", Twilight asked, raising an eyebrow. "How??".
"Well", Applejack said. "She says things she doesn't normally say and she acts different. Trust me. Ah would know of she's actin' different. We've been together fir a long time. Ah know her. Something seems off about er. Ah can't explain it".
"It'll probably stop once she gets use to being married", Rarity's friend said. "There. All done".
Applejack looked herself in the miror. She smiled. "Wow".
The women nodded in agreement.
"You look beautiful", Twilight said.
Applejack looked at her.
"Rainbow's gonna be the one waiting in the church", she said.
Twilight frowned.
"She told me you guys had an argument about her being the one waiting".
Applejack sighed dejectedly.
"When we were dat'n she told me she promised her mom that she would be the one walkin' down the aisle on her weddin day. Now she wants to be the one waitin'. She said that her mom wouldn't care since she's not here. That don't sound like her at all".
