Rainbow woke up to a particularly amazing smell. He nose twitched. Her head lifted off the ground. The girl looked around sleepily. Her eyes felt heavy.
Then she remembered where she was. The new house. Rainbow sat up on the carpet. The teen hybrid stretched herself out, yawning. Her left ear twitched.
She could hear a sizzling sound, which caught her interest. She walked out of the room to investigate the new sound. She walked down the hall to some stairs. She hesitated. Rainbow couldn't help but think to herself.
Don't go. It'll turn out to be just like those other times. You have to be good or else it'll happen again. You know it will. It always happens sooner or later.
Rainbow bit her lip. She decided to not risk it and go back to her room. She turned around.
"Rainbow".
She recognized that voice. It was that girl. Applejack, right??. The girl that bought her. Rainbow turned around. And looked down to see Applejack standing at the bottom of the stairs, looking at her, smiling.
"Mornin", Applejack said.
She walked up the stairs. Rainbow took a few steps back. Applejack came up to her, her hand gripping the rail.
The blonde teen smiled.
"C'mon", she said. "Ah have some things fir you", she said.
Rainbow was taken back.
"For me??".
Applejack nodded. "Yeah. C'mon".
Applejack led her down the hall to her bedroom. The two walked in. Rainbow saw a plastic bag on the bed and froze.
Applejack walked over to the bed and sat down. She dug through the bag. She then took out a toothbrush, toothpaste, a variety of hair brushes and combs, and other thngs. Rainbow was confused. She slowly walked up to Applejack. Applejack looked at her.
"You got all this for me??", Rainbow asked.
Applejack nodded. "Yeah. Since this is yir new home, yir gonna need this stuff. Oh and here's your towel".
Applejack took out a large folded up, baby blue towel. She handed it to Rainbow. The hybrid girl looked at it. She seemed surprised by all this. Like she was expecting to get nothing from Applejack but a place to live.
Applejack frowned. "You okay??".
Rainbow looked at her.
"I guess I'm just tired", she said.
Applejack giggled. "Well ah can't blame ya".
Suddenly a look of remembrance crossed her face.
"Oh yeah. Ah firgot", she said. "Ah didn't show ya yir bathroom. It's that door right there".
Rainbow's eyes widened. She looked at the door Applejack was pointing at. She looked back at the other teen, eyes wide.
"Woah".
Applejack raised an eyebrow.
"What??".
"First I get my own room, my own bed, then you guys say that you're gonna buy me new clothes. Then you give me all this stuff. Now my own bathroom??".
Applejack nodded slowly. "Yeah. Why does that come as a surprise to ya??".
Rainbow bit her lip, looking away. She shrugged. She suddenly quickly looked at Applejack.
"But thank you, Mistress", she said quickly. "Thank you for all of this".
Applejack ignored the Mistress title again. She smiled.
