All was calm that day. A gentle breeze from the east blew by the empty field. The smell of flowers and fresh air intoxicated the earth. The sun shone high through the clouds, filling the grassy green field with sunshine. It was a perfect day.
"C'mon guys!!".
Rainbow tugged Applejack and Twilight along the parking lot, the others not far behind.
"Calm it down, RD", Applejack said laughing, adjusting the bag she had on her shoulder. "The park'll still be there 24/7. It ain't gonna get up and walk away".
Rainbow gave her a look that said, 'No shit sherlock'. She continued to pull her towards the playground field. The group of teens stopped. Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash.
"So what do you wanna do??".
Rainbow immediately went up to Pinkie Pie. She smiled and poked her.
"You're it!!".
Rainbow back up a few feet. Pinkie smiled excitedly. Pinkie ran after Rainbow, the wolf hybrid girl turning and running away. Applejack looked at Twilight, arms crossed, a smirk on her face.
"Those two are the most energetic, annoyin' and most fun-loving gals ah've ever met".
Applejack, Twilight, Rarity, and Fluttershy went over to the swings. They stayed there while the two played.
The girls watched the two run around the park. Rainbow and Pinkie played on the playground, going up the steps and down the slides. They laughed and hollered, having the time of their lives. Applejack smiled, watching Rainbow.
At some point Rainbow's beanie fell off, revealing her wolf ears. Applejack got off the swing she was sitting on. She walked over to the fallen beanie. Picking it up, she dusted it off and walked back to the swings.
She sat down on the swings, looking at Rainbow. The hybrid teen was running around on all fours, racing Pinkie. Rainbow won of coarse. She was really fast.
Rainbow looked over at the girls. She looked at Pinkie. Applejack saw her say something to the curly haired girl. The two walked over to them. Rainbow walked on all fours. They came up to them. Rainbow stood up on two legs. She took Applejack's hand and gently pulled on her.
"Up", she said.
Applejack did as told and stood up. Rainbow pulled her away from the swing.
"Stay".
She walked over the empty seat and sat down. She smiled at Applejack.
"Tada!!. I did magic".
Applejack rolled her eyes. This girl. She chuckled and walked over to her. She went behind Rainbow, taking the swing chains in her hands.
"Want me ta swing ya??", she asked.
Rainbow nodded. "Yes please".
Applejack took a small step back. She gently pushed Rainbow foward. Rainbow smiled. The girls just chilled by the swings for a while.

The day grew hotter as the hours passed.
Rainbow was trotting around on all fours around the field. She felt a sudden heat wave hit her like a train.
She stopped, panting. Rainbow looked around. She saw the girls, sitting by the swings. It was far away. Rainbow was too hot to move So she did the logical thing. She got on her knees. She looked over at the girls.
"Applejack!!!!", she called.
Applejack looked at her.
Rainbow gathered up all the strength she had in her voice.
