Rainbow looked at the object in her hand.
"So this is a hat??".
She looked up at Applejack. Applejack smiled and nodded.
"Yup. Human wear it".
Rainbow looked at the hat. It was rough to the touch. She was holding Applejack's stetson. The girls were teaching her some things about the human world since. Rainbow was a very curious girl and so her friends decided to tell her us much information about the human world as they could cram into Rainbow's brain.
Applejack watched with amusement as Rainbow looked at her hat with wonder. Rainbow then bit into it.
Applejack giggled when Rainbow immediately pulled away, a disgusted look on her face.
"It's not food, RD", she said. "It probably tastes back".
Rainbow nodded.
"It tastes gross".
Rainbow handed Applejack back her hat.
"So, anything else you guys wanna show or tell me??".
Applejack looked down at Rainbow's tail. It swished slightly, the scales shining in the sunlight.
"Actually", Twilight said.
"We were hoping you could tell us about the mermaid world. We'd love to know more since humans know nothing about mermaids. Mermaids are suppose to be myths".
"Oh", Rainbow said, genuinely surprised.
She shrugged. "Well. What do you want to know??".
"Is Atlantis real??", Twilight blurted out.
Rainbow looked at her. She smiled, knowing that she'd be asked that question.
Rainbow nodded. "But don't tell anyone".
Applejack made "hm" sound.
"Who'd believe us??".
Rainbow glanced at her and shrugged.
"You never know, Apples".
Rainbow and Applejack made eye contact. Both were smiling like idiots.
"Hey Rainbow??", Fluttershy spoke up.
Rainbow looked at her. "Yeah??".
Fluttershy was looking at something. Rainbow looked down. She immediately covered a spot on her left side. The others noticed.
"What??".
Applejack looked to Fluttershy. Fluttershy pointed. Applejack looked at Rainbow Dash. Rainbow had a slightly panicked look on her face.
"Rainbooow", Applejack said suspiciously.
Rainbow Dash bit her lip, looking away.
"Yeah??", she said, not looking at Applejack.
Applejack reached a hand out and took Rainbow by her wrist.
"C'mon. Lemme see", she said.
Rainbow shrugged. "See what??".
Applejack gave her a look.
"Rainbow. Move yir hand off".
Rainbow looked at the water. "Why??".
Applejack rolled her eyes. She yanked Rainbow's hand away from her body. She held Rainbow's wrists securely in her hands. Rainbow struggled against her.
