Applejack gulped as she stared up at the beast. She monster seemed to smirk at her.
Applejack had no frikking idea what to do then. She was sure she would die right then and there. The beast Crystal transformed into was massive, it's wings like a dragon's. But it looked like something out of a horror story.
A creature from hell.
Applejack looked down at Rainbow. The woman laid there unconscious and dead for all Applejack knew.
NO.
Applejack suddenly found courage deep down inside herself. She was not going to let someone take her Rainbow away after all they went through together. Not today, not ever.
This thing was going to die today. End of story.
Applejack faced the beast.
"Alright. Let's see how long it takes fir you ta die", she mumbled to herself.
The beast lunged down at her. Applejack swiped her sword, her footing steady. Luckily she knew how to use a sword in a fight. It wasn't hard at all.
The two battled it out. Applejack sliced the beast on its face. It screeched in pain, moving back. Applejack advance towards it, gritting her teeth in anger. The beast looked down at her. It's mouth opened.
Suddenly a ray of magic struck it's face. Applejack didn't expect that.
"Applejack!!".
Applejack took a quick glance to her right.. She saw her friends running towards her. She smiled in relief.
She looked back and gasped. She dove out of the way as the beast lunged at her, it's mouth open, ready to eat her whole. Applejack rolled and then got up to her feet. A second later she felt pain on her arm. She looked down at it to see a scrape on it. She winced. That was a close one.
The others ran up to her, their own weapons in hand. They all faced the monster.
"What happened??", Twilight asked, keeping her eyes on the beast. "Did you find Rainbow??".
"Yeah", Applejack said, panting. "Ah found her. But ta save her, ah gotta kill this thing".
"We can help", Pinkie said. "Just figure out a plan before we become its lunch. WATCH OUT!!".
The girls dove out of the way when the beast tried to get them. Twilight shot out some magic at it. The beast flinched. Its eyes glowed green. That couldn't be good. They all took a few steps back
"I think it's angry", Spike said, stating the obvious.
Applejack rolled her eyes. "Really??. Haven't noticed", she said sarcastically.
"AJ", Rarity said. "Focus".
A thought sudden came to Applejack. She had to get Rainbow away from the fight scene. She didn't want this thing to step on Rainbow Dash by accident. Then she'd definitely be dead.
"Spike. Fluttershy", she called over her shoulder. "You guys go an take Rainbow n' get er out of harm's way. This fight might get brutal".
Fluttershy and Spike took off. The beast saw them and tried to go after them. Applejack took the spare moment to run up to the beast. Raising her sword, she slashed at its tough skin. The beast's attention was immediately on her. It then growled.
Twilight and Rarity shot their magic at it while it was distracted. The force of the blows made it step back. Applejack decided to get out of the line of fire.
