Today was the day. Christmas eve.
Applejack's favorite time of the year. It was also her and Rainbow's fourth year together.
Applejack and Rainbow Dash had woken up that morning with high spirits. Applejack stared at Rainbow.
Reaching out she poked Rainbow's nose.
Rainbow grinned.
"Christmas eve", she said.
Applejack nodded. "Yeah. We're gonna have a great day, babe. Ah promise".
Rainbow sat up.
"Let's C'mon!!", she shouted, hopping out of bed. "Let's get this day started".
Applejack chuckled, sitting up. Rainbow ran to her side and threw the blanket off. She pulled Applejack out of the bed.
"Woah!!".
Applejack nearly tumbled over but caught herself as Rainbow pulled her out of the room.
Applejack laughed.
"Okay, okay. Ah'm comin'".

Rainbow Dash grinned at Applejack. The two walked down the staircase, hand in hand.
"What's on your schedule this year, Captain Apples??".
Applejack grinned. "First off is breakfast", she said. "Ah cooked..... again".
"You know I love your cooking", Rainbow said.
Applejack blushed lightly. "Aw shucks".
Rainbow Dash and Applejack walked down to the kitchen. Rainbow gasped excitedly. She looked around at the food.
Pancakes and eggs.
Rainbow felt her mouth watering.
"It's beautiful".
Rainbow Dash looked at Applejack.
She hugged her tightly.
"Thanks AJ. You're the best".
Applejack smiled.
"No problem".
They sat down to eat. Applejack spent the entire time watching Rainbow swallowing her pancakes. The blonde had to tell Rainbow multiple times to chew slower so she wouldn't choke. After their meal, Rainbow helped Applejack wash the dishes right away. They put them in the dishwasher and cleaned up.
Rainbow put the last dish in and closed the dishwasher machine door.
"Finished".
She turned around and looked at Applejack.
"Now wha-"
She gasped, cutting herself off.
"Let's watch tv!!", she said, bouncing.
"There's gotta be some really awesome Christmas episodes and movies on right now. And then later we can go outside and play in the snow!!".
Rainbow folded her hands and fell to her knees in front of Applejack.
"Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Please-".
"Rainbow", Applejack said, smiling. "Of course we can. Cmon"
Rainbow gasped excitedly. She sprang up and grabbed Applejack's hand. She pulled her girlfriend out of the kitchen and down the hall. They walked into the living room.
