Since I started school yesterday, I thought of this idea. Enjoy :)
Applejack sighed quietly. She stared boredly at the teacher. The woman was talking about angles and angle of elevation or something like that. Applejack could only hear white nouse as she tuned her out.
Applejack looked in front of her. She looked at her friend Pinkie Pie who was sitting in front of her. The pink haired teen was sitting sideways so she could easily look at Applejack. Pinkie had an equally bored expression on her face.
The two had a silent, mental conversation. No words needed to be said.
They were bored.
Suddenly Applejack felt a tap on shoulder. Applejack lifted her head and turned around.
Fluttershy was sitting behind her.
"I heard that we're getting a new student this week", Fluttershy whispered.
Hm. A new kid. Interesting. Applejack looked around the room. Half the class was either asleep or not paying attention. A few girls that Applejack couldn't stand were whispering among themselves as usual.
Yup. Everything was as it should be.
Suddenly the sound of the door opening made the room go silent. A girl Applejack had never seen before walked in.
Applejack couldn't help but check her out.
"Who's she??", she whispered to Pinkie.
Pinkie leaned towards her, not taking her eyes off the girl.
"That's the new girl", she loudly whispered.
Applejack eyed the teen. She had light blue skin. She was slim yet fit looking. She had long straight hair that had all the colors of the rainbow in it.
The teacher smiled at her.
"Can I help you??", she asked.
The girl nodded and walked up to her. She handed the teacher a paper. The teacher quickly read it and nodded.
"You're the new student I was told about".
The woman looked at the class.
"Everyone. We have a new student at our school. Her name is Rainbow Dash".
The girl looked around shyly.
Applejack looked at her friends.
"Ya'll thinkin' what Ah'm thnkin??".
"Make a new friend??", Pinkie guessed.
Applejack gave a nod, grinning.
"Yup".
She looked back at the front.
"So Rainbow", the teacher said. "You wanna tell them class a bit about yourself??".
Rainbow shook her head, clutching her backpack strap. The teacher smiled softly.
"Alright. Go take a seat next to Applejack".
The teacher looked her way.
"Applejack. Raise your hand. You guys can just finish your work for the rest of class".
The teacher walked to her desk.
Applejack raised her hand up high. Rainbow looked her way. Applejack and the girls smiled as kindly as possible. Applejack lowered her hand once Rainbow started walking in her direction.
Applejack lazily leaned back in her chair. Rainbow took a seat beside her, hanging her bag on the back of her chair.
"Hi", Applejack said quietly. "As you already know, ah'm Applejack but some people call me AJ".
