The halls were filled with whispers.
Twilight, Rarity, Pinkie, Applejack, Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy walked down the hall. The girls were very much aware of the other students.
"Why's everyone staring at us??", Fluttershy asked.
"I'm not sure", Twilight replied quietly.
As the six headed through the school to their class, they heard bits of conversation.
"She has to be mental".
"I heard that she attacked someone that ticked her off. She went crazy on him".
"Freaking psycho".
"Who are they talking about??", Applejack asked Rainbow.
Rainbow just shrugged, keeping her eyes on the ground.
"Let's just ignore them", she said. "C'mon".
She walked faster, gently pushing past her friends. The others stopped and watched as Rainbow quickly walked down the hall.
"What was that about??", Twilight asked.
Applejack watched her girlfriend turn the corner and dissappear.
"Ah'm gonna find out".
Applejack jogged down the hall. She caught up to Rainbow Dash.
"Rainbow", she called.
Rainbow stopped and turned to look back at her. She saw Applejack and turned to face her, crossed crossed, eyes on the floor.
Applejack walked up to her.
"What's wrong??".
Rainbow shrugged. "Just having a bad week I guess", she said.
Applejack was getting concerned for her girlfriend. She didn't like it when Rainbow was upset. It didn't look good on her.
"Alright then. Cmere".
Rainbow took a step foward. Applejack took her hands.
"Ah love you" .
Rainbow gave her a half smile.
"I love you too".
Applejack looked at her for a moment.
"If you need ta talk ta me or get somethin off your chest, ah'm always here ta listen. Always. That's what girlfriends do. So come ta me if you need me".
Rainbow nodded. "I will".

This happened for weeks. Everywhere the girls went together or just Applejack and Rainbow Dash, they were stared at and pointed at. The whispers continued.
Rainbow's mood seemed to change dramatically. She refused to talk to any other students and wore a hoodie when entering the school. She was quiet during most of the day, exeot when the girls were all together. Applejack noticed that other students stayed away from Rainbow Dash at all costs.
Rainbow still wouldn't tell her what was wrong. But today had been the last straw.
Rainbow was practically begging Applejack not to make her go to school the next morning.
Applejack crossed her arms.
"You have ta go. We have a test in English class".
Rainbow whined.
"Please, Applejack. I don't wanna go. It'll be terrible. I don't want to go back".
"Why not??", Applejack asked, hands on her hips. "Tell me and maybe ah'll understand why".
