Rainbow sighed contently. She felt Applejack's fingers running through her hair softly.
This was the life.
It had been weeks since Rainbow was found and rescued. She had gain back her strength and health. Applejack had been overprotective of her during her recovery, not letting her out of her sight for too long or walk long distances by herself. But Rainbow didn't mind it at all.
But now she was all better and things were back to normal.
Right now the tv was on, a movie playing. Rainbow and Applejack were snuggled together in front of the tv, celebrating their anniversary. Applejack claimed that since Rainbow wasn't the real Rainbow on their anniversary, Applejack said that they would celebrate it that day to make up for it.
They went out for a movie, then for dinner, then went to get ice cream and were now back at home. Applejack paid for it all. Rainbow had protested but Applejack did anyway. She all of the sudden had money to burn.
Rainbow turned her head and looked out the window.
The night was calling her.
Rainbow got up.
"I'm going outside", she said, getting her shoes.
"Where ya goin??", Applejack asked, sitting up, a raised eyebrow on her face.
Rainbow looked at her.
"The meadow".
She didn't wait for a reply and headed out of the room. She heard Applejack calling her name but she waved it off.
"I won't be long", she called over her shoulder.
With that, she left.

Rainbow looked up at the stars, sitting in the middle of the meadow. A gentle breeze from the east blew by. Her eyes were trained on the sky.
Rainbow decided that tonight was a good night to watch the stars and daydream about stuff. She smiled, watching them twinkle brightly like gems.
"Hey".
Rainbow looked behind her. She smiled when she saw Applejack walking over to her.
Applejack sat down beside her.
"Ah've been lookin everywhere fir you. Ya just walked out".
She placed a hand on her hip.
"What are you doin out here anyway??".
Rainbow shrugged. "Stargazing", she replied.
Applejack smirked. "You stargaze?".
Rainbow glared at her although there was no effort in it.
"Yeah. Don't you dare tell anyone".
Applejack laughed. Typical Rainbow.
"Ah won't. Can ah stay here with you then??. We can be on a random date".
Rainbow giggled and nodded. Applejack sat down beside her on the grass, wrapping an arm around her waist. Rainbow laid her head on Applejack's shoulder. The two sat in comfortable silence, just watching the night sky.
Rainbow sighed.
"Have you ever wondered if there's another world out there??".
Applejack looked at her. Rainbow grinned.
"I mean. What if there's people from an alternate universe doing the exact thing we're doing??. Stargazing".
Applejack giggled. "You have a big imagination".
