The master looked down at the boy who was shivering. His stomach growled loudly. If he didn't have any food soon he would probably starve to death. He couldn't remember the last time he ate proper food. "Hungry boy?" He asked. He still hadn't given a name to his little servant boy. There was no point in lying to the man. "Yes master starving.." He whispered cowering afraid he would get kicked. The boy was weak and fragile and Sebastian liked it however he was maybe a little too weak for the demons liking. He couldn't work when he was always shaking and cowering. He stood up and the boy fell backwards and hugged himself. The master looked down at him then turned and went to a dinner table. Demons didn't need to eat but those rich enough to afford human food did. He took a piece of bread in his hand and Ciel eyed it hungrily. "Do you want this boy?" He smirked. Ciel nodded vigorously. He tore it into little pieces. Pieces smaller then those children throw to birds. Ciel was still his eyes followed the food wherever it went. "Right boy" he smirked "You're hungry aren't you". The boy nodded again. "If you answer my questions correctly you can have the food. Understood?" Ciel looked down shyly he wasn't very clever. "Y... Yes master".

"First question who are you?" This threw the little boy off entirely. Who was he? What did he mean? Did he mean who was he? Does he mean Ciel Phantomhive? Does he mean human? Does he mean a servant? Does he mean a slave? Ciel looked up at his master his mouth dry. "I.... I...." He bit his lip afraid he was wrong. "I am your slave master". Sebastian smirked. "Good boy" he threw a piece of bread to the far corner. He scrambled after it taking it in his dirty little hands about to eat it. He then looked at the demon. This was a trick it had to be..... Right? It was a trick wasn't it. What did he do to it? He was terrified. His stomach growled and attacked him from the inside. He needed to eat. He needed it. But what if his master beat him for eating without permission.

Ciel didn't have a lot of anything. He wasn't brave, he wasn't smart, he wasn't bold. He didn't know what to do a lot of the time. He didn't have any sense of belonging. He didn't have any courage. He didn't know what came over him. Was it the pure starvation that curled him over. Was it the hope that if he did disobey he would be killed? Was it the anger that brewed deep down inside him? He brought the food slowly to his lips his eyes meeting with his masters. He hadn't looked his master in the face at all yet. He saw his eyes. This man wasn't human. He put the food in his mouth and swallowed.
