A teenage boy sat struggling in his bed. The third nightmare of the week. He jerked and spasmed uncomfortably as tears steamed down his face. He huddled into a blanket trying to not be heard by the others in the rooms adjacent. He whimpered and tried not to call out. He kicked and pushed at his covers until he fell out of bed. The bang woke someone else up who calmly entered the room.
"A nightmare again? That's the third one this week" she went over to him and sat on his bed. He got up and sat beside her. "The usual?" The boy nodded weakly. She comforted him.
"It's never going to happen again. I promise you that. He's going to be there for you. The master. He vowed that nothing bad will ever happen. He swore to never throw us back onto the streets." Her voice was different. It was calming and soft. She had taken her glasses off. She loved them with all her heart, they were her prized possession but they made her voice loud and naisley. That was the last thing he needed right now. She sat and comforted him for almost half an hour before he felt safe and secure enough to be left alone.

It was quite a shock one day when Sebastian entered the kitchen as his servants sat speaking at seven thirty. In human months it was December not that any demon ever used human months anyway. Though he had no real sense of time Ciel could tell something was off. He was asking the others what the month was when Sebastian entered. "It's December in human months." Ciel nodded sadly.
"What day?"
"The seventh. Why?"
"Just curious" he shrugged. A week until the four year anniversary of his parents death. Has it really been four years? He leant on his elbows on the table with his chin in his hands.
"We're having a gathering of my family including my extended family a week today here." Ciel smiled excitedly, something to distract him from the memories.
"They seem to like my house more than there own sometimes" he chuckled. "I will bring in some extra hands to help the preparations. Ciel you remember Hannah and the triplets don't you?"
"Hannah yes but not the triplets. I only saw one other man. He had purple hair and didn't speak."
"One of the triplets yes. They'll arrive the day before to help preparations. I want you all on your best behaviour. That is all" Sebastian turned on his heel and left. The three older servants looked at each other uncomfortably. They, like Ciel previously, had next to no experience with other demons. They had met really only three out of Sebastian's seven siblings but that was just a passing thing when Ciel was really ill. "Ciel what are you thinking?" Finny asked.
"I'm excited. I adore the masters family and their servants. Oh! I wonder if Alois will be here! I think his father will probably bring him" he smiled.
"What's his family like?"
"They're all really nice" they gave him a look as if to say 'tell us about them' so he continued.
"The eldest is called Lord Vapular, he looks just like the master though older, he's got a demanding presence but his steps are careful and he has a servant named Daniel, he's my friend, he's a fallen angel. Next is Lady Proserpine, she's..." he was looking for the right word "intimidating and the atmosphere around her can often be tense but she has a peculiar way with words when she speaks it's like a story, beautiful and calming. She's very pretty and defends her family and Amy with all she has. Amy is her servant. She's a demon with brown and red hair and pale skin. She and Daniel are very close." He smiled sadly. "The next oldest is Lord Asmodeus. He scares me. I keep my distance. He keeps his. A recluse. Always with a different lady. Always drinking. Miss Meyrin I suggest you keep your distance more than anyone." Her eyes widened.
"I'll keep that in mind, yes I will."
"Next are the twins. Lord Enkidu and Lord Gilgamesh. They look the same, they act the same, they speak together, I can't tell them apart. They're doctors." Finny tensed up ever so slightly. He had a complete fear of doctors ever since he was chained up and forcefully experimented on. "They're very nice. Honestly they are. They stand up for what is right and care deeply for their family. Our Lord is next in age. He's the third youngest. Surprising isn't it. The next is around your age Finny. His name is Murmur" he shook his head "Lord Murmur he's incredibly talented, can play any instrument, a musical prodigy, he's kind, intelligent, curious, logical, very caring. He lives with Lord Vapular and Daniel. Lastly is Lady Lilitu, a very kind, generous girl. She is curious, intelligent, caring, she is beautiful in every sense of the word." He blushed a little. "She lives with the twins." The three servants exchanged glances at the sudden colour change in Ciel and smirking Bard turned to him asking if ''e 'ad a sweet spot for the girl'. He shook his head.
"No no. That wouldn't be proper. She's a lady after all."
"You're a lord" Finny shrugged.
"Was a lord. A human lord. That was before... well it's nothing really compared to the class system down here." He rambled on feeling very embarrassed that he was thought to have those kind of feelings for her.
"Oi you two leave the poor boy alone" Meyrin hit both of the boys over the back of the head. "Ignore them Ciel." He smiled awkwardly.
