Ciel and his Master only stayed at Vapulars residence for two more days. During this time Sebastian spent a lot of time with cousin Gabriel so this left Ciel to spend time with Lilitu and Murmur and therefore Yasu.

The next morning Ciel awoke early, as usual and he was sat in his masters room. He didn't have any jobs that he was given for the morning so he was sat reading. He was getting better at understanding Latin words and his Latin speaking was becoming a lot better. He wanted to ask if maybe Lilitu or Murmur would help him with Latin but didn't want to bother them so he turned to Amy during breakfast.
"Of course I speak Latin" she giggled "I'm a demon. All demons speak Latin."
"Can you please, maybe, well, help me to learn Latin. I'm trying. I'm reading all the books I can and am listening to conversations but I still can't speak it."
"Of course I can help you!"
The next two days were spent with Ciel and Amy, with occasionally Daniel or the two siblings teaching and learning Latin. This was in between, of course, serving his master and doing other bits of work.

Yasu was sat outside on a blanket with a book while Murmur and Daniel were playing with a ball and Lilitu and Amy were teaching Ciel. It was nice. They didn't get that much time all together. "Don't you speak Latin?" Yasu asked him curiously.
"I didn't. I'm learning it though. Well trying to learn it." Ciel smiled shyly.
"You only speak English?" She asked. Most people she knew could at least speak two languages.
"I'm fluent in French as well" he told her proudly.
"Uncle taught you French?"
"I learnt it on Earth."
"Oh yes you were a noble weren't you?" She asked curiously.
"I was" he smiled.
"What family?"
"The Phantomhives" he told her. She shrugged.
"I've never heard of them." He looked down sadly and explained, trying to make sure his voice didn't crack, that the family name had died when his brother was killed and he was brought down to the underworld.
"Is the Funtom Sweet Company still around?" He asked.
"Oh yes. They have the best sweets in England."
"My uncle must have taken over it. Good I'm glad."
"You used to own Funtom Company?" She asked shocked. He nodded.

The last night the two were staying was calm and comfortable. The girls in the kitchen had put together a little present for Ciel. A cake, some sweets, bits of all sorts. He thanked them and they all took their turn saying goodbye. Gabriel and Yasu were staying a few days longer but Sebastian decided, mostly for Freckles' sake, that it was time to go home. He should be alright but it's first time alone without Sebastian or Ciel.

Sebastian and Ciel took to their carriage waving goodbye to the rest of the family. The coach journey seemed to pass very quickly.

When they arrived home Ciel smiled brightly as he saw Freckles scrubbing the step. It was so nice to see him again. He's really missed him, it's weird considering it's only been a few days.
Freckles eyes shot up at the sound of a carriage drawing near he nearly ran straight inside but as he noticed who's carriage it was he began to wave wildly. Ciel knelt on his seat and waved to his friend.

To Freckles these past three days could have easily been three whole weeks. Without Ciel, his days have been pretty uninteresting. He couldn't just sit and cling to Meyrin because he had all his own jobs to do. He really didn't like sleeping alone either. The only time he had slept alone during his time in the mansion was when he was so ill he fell asleep in the young masters room. The first night he was awake well into witching hour and then had a nightmare which made him unable to sleep the rest of the night. On the second night he debated going to see if Mey would sit with him until he fell asleep but he really didn't want to wake her. It wasn't fair. Another sleepless night. Ciel should be back today! This is the thought that was genuinely getting Freckles through the tiredness. He was sat scrubbing the path fighting to keep his eyes open. Thank goodness for his above average hearing or he wouldn't have noticed the carriage driving over the gravel towards them. He jumped up about to run back into the house when he glanced over and noticed THE MASTERS CARRIAGE! They're back! Thank goodness. He waved frantically to them and saw Ciel waving back at him. It was like a weight had lifted off the poor boys body. When the carriage stopped Sebastian stepped out and looked at his young servant. "How have you been here Freckles?"
"It's been okay." Freckles shrugged. Ciel grabbed the masters bags and climbed out. Freckles took some off him.
"Hi Ciel!" He smiled brightly.
"Hi Freckles. How are you?"
"Better now you are back" he smiled genuinely. Ciel blushed.
"You two boys go inside and put my bags in my room. Meyrin will unpack them." Sebastian told his two servants. The two ran upstairs and before Ciel could even get into the masters room Freckles tackled him and hugged him tightly.
"Please don't leave again" the brown haired boy said into his friends neck. Ciel held his friend.
"What happened?" He asked concerned.
"I couldn't sleep. I spent my breaks alone. I was so lonely." The child told him shyly.
"I'm so sorry. I should have asked Master to let you come with us. We were just worried that you would get too stressed about the whole thing. It's really hard being around large groups of demons. I'm so sorry."
"Don't apologise just please I don't want to sleep alone again." Freckles let go of his friend. Ciel took his hand and squeezed it.
"I won't let you sleep alone." He promised. Freckles nodded. The tiredness had seemed to hit him and the brown haired boy fell onto his friend as he collapsed.
