Ciel and Daniel stood by the twins telling them about Lilitu. The twins were legally Lilitus guardians. "Amy is doing her best to numb the pain so that she is able to walk back here and you can heal her masters".
"Thank you, both of you" the twins said in perfect unison. "You're very helpful". The two servants bowed to them.
"Thank you masters".

Limping into the room with her arm wrapped around Amy, blushing deeply, her head lowered, Lilitu went over to Endiku and Gilgamesh hugging one of them as the other knelt down at her ankle. "I'm sorry brother. I hope you're not mad at me" she whispered.
"Not at all Lili" he told her.
"You've twisted your ankle. It's nothing that should hurt you. Your pain tolerance is weak. Have you been taking your medicine?" The other brother stood up.
"I left it at home" she whispered. They sighed. "We'll get someone to go out and buy it for you." The twins looked at all the servants from their family. They exchanged a look after glancing at Ciel.
"We'll have Amy and Daniel do it later." She nodded.

The door opened and a servant dressed in higher class clothing stepped in. "Ladies and Gentlemen I present your king and queen". The two royal adults entered the room as everyone bowed to them. The servants followed suit of everyone else and knelt down in worship. The two almost floated down the path created by them as the mass of people split. "You may rise" the queen said to everyone smiling softly. Ciel glanced up at his Master who nodded. He stood beside his Master slightly behind him. "Please continue as you were". There was a collective sigh of relief as the noise slowly built up again.
"Is my sister alright?" Sebastian asked his servant. He nodded.
"Yes master". Number 2 do not drag on, answer simply.
"Where did she run off to?"
"The gardens sir".
"Did she get hurt?" He asked.
"Her ankle sir, Amy helped to make it better". Sebastian nodded.
"You didn't run into any trouble did you?"
"No sir none at all". Sebastian nodded and sorted out a stray piece of Ciel's hair.

The rest of the night continued with Ciel almost clinging on to either Sebastian, Lilitu or Amy. The human boy was never out of the families eyesight for you see they were all very much on edge about the boy. In a place as big as this and a town celebrating such an... interesting event it would only be normal for the family to feel a little on edge. Slave or not humans were easy prey and could be stolen away and sold in less than half an hour to the right buyer from the right seller. Human captures were common place in polite society. To be very honest with you Sebastian was a little uneasy about letting the three idiots stay alone but he figured they would be strong enough to fight off anyone who tried to take them on. Besides what's the point in having adult humans. They're no fun. They can't be broken. Humans were just play things after all.

Ciel had learnt something new about demons within the first couple of hours of being there and that is the fact that not all demons go into the state of hiding the Asquith family and their servants do at 7 o'clock everyday as at around 6:50 the family excused themselves and made their way to their rooms. Ciel stayed with Sebastian and he sat beside the bed on the floor reading. He had been offered to sit on the bed but he found the floor more comfortable and he was closer to the window which was good as he kept getting hot flushes. He had decided that this time of hiding was really a time of reflection where they would sit in silence amerced in their own thoughts and feelings. He still had no idea why. Instead of asking he sat and read the book that he was given. It was the one he had chosen. The one in French. He was happy about that because he was just starting to get back into relearning language although he already was practically fluent. At around 7:30 Sebastian lead Ciel downstairs where he continued to follow him.

Later that night there was an announcement made by the kings butler that there was going to be a ball and banquet held the next day. The group of people began to slowly split off. The two youngest children of the Asquith family had retired to bed and the three young servants tried to contain their yawns and forced their eyes open. They stood in a corner speaking quietly among themselves. Their masters had allowed them that privilege after they had moved to the games room. Amy stifled a yawn as her stomach gave a faint growl. "I don't understand why I am so tired". Ciel agreed.
"I was ordered to sleep on the way but I'm still very tired... I'm guessing it's from just standing doing nothing."
"We haven't sat down all night. Not that I'm complaining or anything... wait when did you get ordered to sleep?" Daniel asked.
"Once we had set off... then I feel I may have fallen asleep again because the carriage was so dark" he said quietly like he was trying to remember something.
"Why was it dark. It was a normal day out" Amy furrowed her brow in confusion.
"We came across traffic and then he closed the curtains ordering me to not look out...". The two servants glanced and each other and looked down knowingly.
"I'm not surprised" Daniel sighed.
"It's for the best" Amy patted his shoulder. He looked down. Everyone seemed to know except him. The voices lowered as the door was pushed open.
"Please excuse me for the wait my lords and ladies" a small voice whispered carefully. Most of the demons looked down their noses at the little girl as she struggled with the trays in her arms. Ciel went over to his Master. "May I help?" Sebastian nodded and he rushed over to help her. He held the door as she stepped in. "Thank you" she blushed. He bowed politely to her. She placed one of the trays on the table and Ciel went back to the corner. The little demon servant girl passed glasses around to the nobles. The glass contained a deep red liquid. She passed Ciel and the smell of metal surrounded him. He shook his head. He must be tired. As the girl passed, Amy's head shot up and she glanced at the glasses before squeezing her eyes shut and controlling herself. Her stomach gently growled and she bit her lip hoping no one had heard. The two boys looked down at her sympathetically. Younger demon children ate much more than fully grown ones. Her friends knew that and they knew that Amy had been so busy the day before that she forgot to eat. It was not healthy at all for Amy to be hungry and tired as any moment she could be drained of all life and energy. She smiled weakly trying to convince them she was okay. She really wasn't. Ciel knew the feeling of starvation very well. He couldn't even stand straight when he was like that. "We know you're hungry Amy" Daniel looked at her.
"Why don't you tell your mistress?" Ciel suggested
"No no. I'll be fine. She's busy... it would be rude to interrupt" she said weakly.
"Please Amy you're not well" Danny was worried about her. "If you don't I will." She bit her lip knowing full well that he would.
"When she next calls me over I will tell her" she promised. Daniel sighed nodding. The three servants stood rather quietly as they looked over at their masters.

It amused Ciel slightly as he noticed that the groups in the family were split as well. Daniels master and Amy's mistress never strayed too far from each other. Sebastian was incredibly social which could not be said about the twins. They didn't really speak to others but they were incredibly kind to those they did speak to and yet again the drunken brother was nowhere to be seen. He had brought a different woman with him this time. This woman was slightly tanned and her deep red hair was curled. Ciel was kind of glad that he didn't have to interact with the drunken brother. He was especially glad that Amy didn't have to.

The time slowly dragged on as the three servants tried even harder not to fall asleep. Amy had to lean against the wall and the sounds from her stomach grew louder and more violent. "That's it" Daniel stood up straight and walked over to Vapular and Proserpine. He waited until they had noticed him and raised an eyebrow.
"Please my lady I apologise for interrupting and speaking without permission but may I go and get Amy something to eat. She's incredibly pale and she keeps going dizzy" he spoke bravely. The mistresses eyes soften.
"Yes yes of course I completely forgot. Take her to my room and lie her down on the sofa. Ciel" she called over to him. He went over to her and bowed. "Dear brother you don't mind if I borrow him do you?" She asked Sebastian who had walked over to check everything was alright.
"Not at all" he shrugged.
"Ciel you're strong aren't you?" She asked "strong enough to carry Amy if she was to collapse I mean" she said at his confused look. He nodded.
"Yes ma'am". She smiled and wrote a note quickly and handed it to Daniel.
"Take this to the kitchen, collect it and then take it to Amy". He bowed and left the room. "Ciel walk with her to my room" she told him the room and he bowed going over to Amy helping her. She bowed her head to her mistress as that was all she could do without getting dizzy. Ciel walked beside her guiding her towards the bedroom making sure she didn't fall.

"Why don't you just get rid of her?" A voice asked the mistress from across the room. She looked up to see a tall, well built man.
"I'm sorry?" She asked.
"The servant girl. She doesn't seem worth it"
"She hasn't eaten in two days."
"Is that it? She should be used to it." Proserpine laughed, a hint of bitterness in her voice that only her family recognised.
"I don't starve her. That's just cruel."
"It's not starving it's training. My boy can go four days." At the man saying this Sebastian raised his eyebrow.
"Four days?" He asked. "The child must be weak then. If he goes that long without food."
"No it means he's strong" the man said proudly, dumbly.
"Actually if a child was to go that long without food for that length of time multiple times" one of the twins seemed to have heard the conversation and walked over.
"Then their pain tolerance, metabolism, muscle strength and heart rate all lower dramatically causing the child to" the second brother joined in
"Have a more constant lack of breath, their immune system begins to slow down causing them to get ill much easier, the muscles in limbs weaken"
"So all in all" the two explain together. "He is weaker then Amy who has a balanced of food, exercise and sleep." They bowed their heads to their family before smirking a little and leaving. The man was left completely in shock.
Proserpine smirked at her brothers who looked at the twins walk away.
"Incredible timing as usual" Sebastian smirked.
