His Master, Steps

Ciel was let off of his jobs for the rest of the night as he helped Freckles to settle in. The new servant learnt a lot about his new masters family and his new friends life. The two children were sat in the room on the bed. Freckles didn't have any night clothes yet as he was taller than Ciel so none of his old clothes would fit him. Ciel had kept his eyepatch on all day as he feared that Freckles may find him weird for the contract symbol so when Freckles actually asked him about him it he wasboth  relieved and nervous. "You know as I mentioned I'm contracted to the master" Ciel said. Freckles nodded. "Well I have a symbol to well symbolise my contract with him. It's under here" The boy carefully removed his eyepatch as he blinked slightly to adjust his eye to the light. The brown haired one just stared wide eyed. "Woah it's such a pretty colour" he was in shock. Ciel smiled shyly.
"Master has one too on his hand, his is just black though" he placed his eyepatch on the side and brought his knees to his chest. He rested his head on his knees as he looked at the boy.
"How did you do it?" Freckles asked looking over to the boarded up window. Ciel just looked at him confused. "You know cause a demon to be so interested in you."
"I don't know is my honest answer. I think it's my soul" he told him honestly. "I heard once it was really pure and that's what caused master to rescue me." The two sat in a silence, not uncomfortable or awkward just silence staring as lights flashed every so often outside.
"I hate thunder and lightning" Freckles commented as he pushed his hair on his right side behind his ear.
"Me too. It's one of my biggest fears." Ciel told him climbing out of bed and closing the curtains to shut off the lights that flashed in the section of the window not boarded off.

"Dearest Sebastian,
My body yearns to be beside yours. It has been far too many moons since I have been in your arms. Come back to me and I will make you the most satisfied you have ever been. I hold you dear to me and it feels like I am drifting too far from you. I won't let that happen. Please accept my invite to come to my manor a week today so we may be together,
Your dearest love."

"Dear older brother,
Our sister and I miss you dearly and was wondering if maybe possible we could come and visit you. Our older brothers are very busy at the moment with work, the twins are away studying medicine on earth and my career, our oldest brother is always busy with his studies. Would we able to come and visit you?
Many pleases and thank yous,
Murmur and Lilitu."

Two letters both delivered by messenger birds on the same day. It's obvious what his answer would be. He sat in the dim candle light and wrote out two separate messages.

"Dear,
I regret to inform you and I apologise but my younger siblings are visiting a week to this day and I need to be with them as I couldn't dare to leave them alone,
Many returns,
Sebastian"

"Murmur and Lilitu,
Of course, you can come and visit me any time. How is a week today? I would very much like to see you again and I'm sure Ciel will be thrilled to be seeing you two again. A week will be enough time to gather up what you need and travel down, Lilitu don't forget your medication, Murmur why not bring your violin I have been wanting to practise for some time and it's always more beneficial to practise with another. Also I have recently hired a new servant and I'm sure you would very much like to meet him.

At that they were sent and Sebastian smiled as he threw the unwanted paper into the bin. Ciel would be very thrilled about Murmur and Lilitu visiting.

Freckles did not like to talk about himself. He didn't seem to talk about the past really. When Ciel asked him how he came down to the underworld all he did was mention a one armed man and that was all. Ciel didn't like to push. He hated it when others did that to him so he did understand. "The masters family sound really quite interesting" Freckles changed the subject from himself to something else.
"They really are." Ciel smiled as he described the family to him, of course including Daniel, Amy and Alois.
