((Trigger Warning. Self harm))

"Welcome back my lord!"
"It's so good to see you again, yes it is."
"We kept the place in tip top condition for ya."
The three servants had crowded their master and the little human. Ciel felt a wave of happiness and calm overcome him.
"It's good to be home" Sebastian told them passing Meyrin his jacket. "I'll be in my study. I just need to sort something out." He turned and left leaning Ciel alone with the three. He felt the little servant boy needed some compassion from other humans.
"How did the trip go Ciel?" Finnish asked smiling happily.
"It was good. I enjoyed it" he smiled. "I got to see the masters family again." Ciel decided to explain all that happened to them leaving out some details that he didn't exactly know how to put into words. The three listened interested quite shocked at how much the boy talked. They didn't mind. They liked it. It wasn't until Finny pointed out Ciels arm that he fell silent. "I burnt myself lighting a candle... please excuse me" he rushed off. The three humans looked at each other confused.
"Well that was weird, yes it was."
"Very it's not like 'im"
"I hope he's okay" the little blonde boy watched after him.

The days got hotter and the servants had taken to rolling up their sleeves during their daily activities but Ciel was adamant on keeping his jacket on. At first they all thought it was a loyalty thing but then it came to the point where he would overheat and pass out this was when they got confused. They questioned him about it but to no avail it was only when Sebastian told him in a stern tone to take his jacket off. He still had a long sleeve shirt on but it was better than the jacket.

A few days later the little boy was backing out of his masters room when Sebastian stopped him. "Ciel stay a moment. Come here" the little boy swallowed uncomfortably and went over to his Master. "Let me see your arm." Ciel paled.
"It's fine now master honestly it is" he gripped his arm with his other hand tightly.
"Let me see" the tone rose in the masters voice and the lad stiffened.
He shakily shook his head.
"Now Ciel" he ordered and to his shock the little boy did something he hadn't done in months. He flinched. The little boy flinched. "Go". The boy looked up. "I said go" Sebastian sighed. The boy ran out of the room and downstairs knocking past Meyrin and tripping over Bardroy. "Ciel!" They called after him hoping he was okay. He just ran out to the gardens to the tool shed. He was looking through boxes trying to find something when Finny walked past.
"Oh Ciel. Not often I see you in there. What's the matter. Need help with anything." The boy froze a cold sweat breaking out on his forehead. Oh no. Now he's in for it. He was going to get a beating. For the first time in months he was going to get a beating. But that's not bad. No. No it's not. He deserved it. He was a bad boy. He disobeyed orders and ran in the way of superiors. You're a bad child. You deserve to be beaten. He felt surrounded by a million little monsters clawing and grabbing at him and he began to panic. He was breathing heavily. Far more then any of his other panic attacks. He shoved past Finny and tried to run to somewhere where no one would see him but that only made his panicking increase and he began to breath more heavily until he couldn't take it anymore and began to throw up everywhere before passing out in the pool of his own vomit. "Master. Master!" Finny saw Ciel collapse and burst into tears before running to Sebastian. He banged on his door. "Master. Master!"
"Finny for goodness sake. What is it? Stop crying."
"It's... Ciel... he's... collapsed" he said between crying.
"Take me to him. Now Finny" he told him. The two ran to where Ciel passed out and Sebastian held him in his arms not really knowing what to do. He took him home and had a message quickly sent to his twin brothers to help him. He ordered Finny to grab some ice and placed the little boy in a bed loosening all his clothes so he could breath. He rolled up the boys shirt sleeves and noticed the tightly wound bandages on his arm. He looked down at the little boy as he jolted gently in his sleep. He carefully unwound the bandages and looked at the boys arm. He was shocked at the sight but heard Finnys footsteps and quickly covered the boys arms. He didn't want him seeing the lads arms. "I have the ice" the blonde boy placed it on the little ones head and knelt beside his bed. "Thank you Finnian. It's appreciated. Stay with him until he wakes up. I'm going to get my brothers" and with that he turned and left.

Finny stayed beside the little boy for hours. Never once leaving him.

A few hours later the little servant boy came to. He began to wake up and gently blinked in the dimmed light. "Ciel?" Finny asked gently.
"Did I pass out?" The blue haired boy looked around confused, clearly not remembering what had happened.
"Yes you did. We were worried but you seem okay now" the older child smiled weakly. Ciel took his arms from under the blanket and rubbed his eyes. On his arm not a burn mark as expected but a few short gashes lining his wrist. They were wobbly and not treated properly. They looked as though they were paper cuts or marks from a sharpened letter opener. Finnian saw the marks straight away and bit his lip. "Erm..." he looked at the boy who quickly covered his arms. "You won't tell the master will you?" He asked shakily.
"What happened?" The older boy asked.
"I cut my arms..." his voice was croaky and weak.
"But why?"
"The prince said I should be punished for Daniels kidnapping. I thought it was all my fault... I needed to be punished. They wouldn't punish me, so I punished myself" Ciel looked out of the window as to not keep eye contact with Finny. Finny put his hand on the boys shoulder.
"It wasn't your fault."
"I know that now. I didn't then" he said sadly.
"You shouldn't blame yourself you know Ciel" the blond told him.
"I know it's just..." he didn't finish his sentence. "Please don't tell the master."
"I won't tell him."
"Please promise"
"I promise."

"Ciel you're awake that's good" one of the twins entered the room and Finny jumped back against the wall unsure of this new person.
"We've heard of your symptoms and have a feeling you have had what the humans call an asthma attack. Do you have asthma?" The other twin came in after his brother.
The little boy nodded.
"Why didn't you tell me Ciel" Sebastian looked at the boy.
"It never came up. I thought it was gone" he looked down sadly. Sebastian sent Finny downstairs, after thanking him, and the twins checked the little boy over. He was very resistant to let them see his arms but he couldn't disobey orders. The twins knew what the marks were on first glance and cleaned his arms almost in silence before placing a bandage around his arm, done properly, neatly and not too tight, like Ciel did. "Drink Ciel it will help. No strenuous activities and make sure to stay at a regular temperature" the twins told him before leaving him alone with Sebastian.
"Explain" that was all Sebastian said. The little boys lower lip trembled slightly as he explained what had happened and what he'd done. He spoke from the heart but said little. At the end of the explanation he passed out from exhaustion without another word.

Sebastian covered the little servant boy in a blanket and turned to go downstairs. Finny was stood at the door. "Please don't punish him master. Please. It's not his fault. I understand how he feels" Finny looked up at his Master wide eyed. The noble softened in his body language and facial expression. "I'm not going to punish him."

((I don't mean to make excuses I should be updating more often than I am but my phone broke and I lost everything past February. All my pictures. All my chapters. I was half way through writing a chapter when I lost it so I had to redo it. I've also been away all these past three weeks. One week in Wales and the other at university dorms for something I'm doing for college. I'll try and update more.))
