With the measurements written down, Sebastian took his two young servants into the town to the tailors. Freckles kept his head down and stuck very closely to Ciel who had leant him a jacket as he didn't have one. Sebastian explained to the pretty female in the tailors shop what type of clothes he wanted made for the two boys and she smiled a little calling over a small dark haired girl who wore a red waist coat. "Can you and your brother start on this order please?"
"Of course we can. Which one is it for?" She asked looking at Ciel and Freckles.
"The brown haired one by the measurements."
"Any particular colour?"
"Black they are servants." The older one was looking through fabrics. Sebastian turned to the younger girl.
"As long as the main outfit is black. The other jacket can be a different colour. I don't really mind" Sebastian explained.
"It'll be done in half an hour for you then mister" the dark haired girl ran into the back room.
"One of my two assistants. Boy and a girl. Really talented" the woman smiled looked after them.
"We'll be back when they are done. We'll be going around the town." Sebastian told the woman handing her some money.
"I know I can trust you Sir" the woman told him. He just smiled and took the two boys into town. He explained the rules to Freckles. He had more or less the same rules as Ciel.
1. Don't speak without being spoken to
2. Answer simply do not drag on
3. Answer questions with Master, Sir, My Lord, Mistress or My Lady.
4. Be polite
5. Keep quiet if not being address
6. Try not to make any unnecessary noise
7. If you're not needed I will ask you to leave the room. If not stay beside Ciel and do as he does.
8. Do not listen into any any conversation not involving you.
9. If you're asked to do something. Do it.Freckles was walking beside the the master trying to remember all of these new rules. "Ciel can help you if you forget" Sebastian explained to his boys. They nodded and smiled at each other. Sebastian took his time looking around a shop to give the two boys time to talk about about the rules.
"You get used to them" Ciel smiled softly. "Don't worry about it." The two boys walked together beside their master as he went about his day. They didn't run into any of the people trying to recapture Freckles so that was a good thing. Once the clothes had been collected the three went back into the carriage and climbed inside. Ciel sat as he usually would leaning against the window. Freckles sat in silence across from Ciel. He looked so excited over the fact he was in the carriage even though he had been in it many times before hand. It was still exciting to him. He watched out of the window at the people as they drove past.Freckles was deep in thought as he seemed to stare at the boy with blue hair staring out of the window. What was it about this boy that made everyone like him? He just couldn't put his finger on it. Scary looking creatures would smile at him and treat him almost equal. It was strange. The master kept this boy so close to his side that at first glance they could be mistaken for a father and son. I mean humans don't usually have such strangely coloured hair. It wasn't even like the blue haired boy had an air of grace about him because he really didn't. He didn't try to raise above his station by treating others differently. He appreciated and respected every single person.
The journey in the carriage was not long and the only conversation was a brief exchange between Sebastian and Ciel about the next week. His siblings coming to visit. Freckles watched Ciel to see his reaction, he had told him about the siblings but he was curious to see how he would react to spending a few days serving another two people. The servants smile beamed and his eyes glistened as he spoke about Murmur and Lilitu.
When they arrived back home Sebastian gave Freckles the clothes and told him to try them on. He rushed to the bathroom and locked the door as he put the clothes on. Freckles quickly undid the bandages that were wrapped around their chest and took a few deep breaths before putting them straight back on again. No one else must know. They put the clothes on and smiled. They fit perfectly. The children in the shop worked really fast. He picked up his old clothes and held them in his arms as he went back up to his masters room. When he was called in he was there alone with just his master. Ciel had gone down to help Finny. Freckles looked around in a state of panic at being all alone. He knew this would happen. Sebastian looked over at him. "Good. Good. Are they comfortable?" He asked.
"Yes sir" Freckles looked down.
"Good I'm glad. Do they fit?"
"Yes very well sir." Sebastian smiled and looked him up and down.
"Excellent craftsmanship. I will definitely have to buy from them again. Okay you are dismissed. Ciel is in the garden helping Finnian." Freckles looked at him confused. Was that it?
"I'm sorry sir but is that all?"
"I beg your pardon." Sebastian looked at him confused.
"It's nothing... I apologise. I erm. I'll just go. Sorry" perhaps he had forgot. That's a good thing right? He slipped out of the room and rushed downstairs. The child calmed them self down as they got downstairs.
